I can't find the specific tutorial I used, but that's how I learned - a tumblr tutorial. these are all more or less the same process, so one of these should work for you!

Your bat is the Eastern Tube-Nosed Bat (Nyctimene robinsoni)!

She literally has neon green eyeliner. How cool is that. This bat also has, as its name suggests, tubular nostrils extending from the face, which allows it to eat juicy fruit without getting the juice up their nostrils. I can remember some times as a small child that this adaptation would have been handy to have. It is also believed that the tube nostrils allow them to smell fruit better through a process called stereo olfaction. This bat whistles to communicate with others, and its green spots allow it to look more like a leaf when it hangs from a tree.

Hi there, my friend! Thanks for the ask! Unfortunately, my answers are a bit sad. I didn't intend that, I swear. 🤪

1. what are 3 things you’d say shaped you into who you are?

My dad passing away when I was a teenager, my low back injury in college, and my mom passing away 10 years ago. I think parents passing away is fairly obvious reasoning. My back injury totally changed my life. I've always wondered what my life would have been if I'd been healthy, capable of sitting, walking, everything like a regular person. It affects everything in my life, from work to friends to dating, because I can't sit for extended periods, or walk for extended periods. It's not the most terrible thing in the world and I'm grateful it's not worse, but still.... life was limited by what I could do.

7. What scares you the most and why?

Death. I'm agnostic and don't really believe in any kind of afterlife. So the idea of just stopping to exist is terrifying.

11. What do you consider to be a romance?

When people have similar life goals, their personalities complement each other, and they share respect. I adore them in fiction, but have very limited experience in real life. 🤣 There is little intersection between the subsets of men I find attractive and men who have been attracted to me. I'm not self aware enough to figure out why.
