Has a pineapple float around in her kitchen as soon as she tries to cut it.
Damnit, why wasn’t it-! She REALLY tried to slice the fruit in half, but the fact that it had been nudged away a couple of times seemingly by itself proved to become frustrating to the aroma lady.
Slice- MISSED!
Slice- MISSED!
Slice-MISSED!
It was now beginning to float around her head, up to the ceiling, where even with drawing her sword to ACTUALLY try cutting it down, it would nudge away from her. There was only ONE person who would do this to her-!
“REX, I SWEAR TO THE ALMIGHTY, YOU PUT THAT FRUIT DOWN NOW!”
A continuation of Ava’s story arc where she learns how to use her Aura powers. Lesson provided by Rex here. First lesson was posted here.
Once Ava was confident in her ability to see her own aura it was time to move onto the next section of the lesson. She watched the time flower provided by her mentor once more intently. Her eyes focused on the plum in his hand. The deep red-purple fruit was engulfed with the telltale bright blue of aura energy. Then Rex ate it, absorbing that energy back into himself. It was such a simple act. Yet it proved to be anything but simple for Ava.
As with the first lesson, she struggled to get anywhere with this one for many days. For Ava, who went her whole life not even knowing she had such powers up until this point, it was going to take time. Argos, her Riolu, was a much quicker study. He had the advantage of being a pokemon who was already naturally attuned to the use of Aura. Even when he got the hang of it he kept repeating the lesson with her, hoping that perhaps with his example to follow it would help.
Just like before, Ava’s frustration came to a head and made her want to give up. Likely it was the catharsis after crying about it and then sleeping it off that gave her enough emotional clarity that morning to simply focus on the task instead of trying to force it to happen. With deep, slow breaths, and a steadied focus, it finally happened. The pecha berry she decided to have with breakfast glowed with the blue of Aura. Not as brightly as Rex’s had, but it was there nonetheless. A wave of relief washed over Ava, and she ate the berry as instructed.
Completing this part of the lesson in the morning was not the wisest choice. It left Ava feeling sluggish and tired as she worked. Rex warned that it would be draining on his students. Perhaps it would be best to move this practice to the evenings.
The third and final section of Rex’s lesson was more passive. This allowed Ava to continue practicing the first two parts as this third one played out.
The small balcony of her apartment had enough space and adequate sunlight to let her grow a few plants in pots. With spring here it was good timing. She acquired a few seed packets from a local market. Ava knew she wasn’t the most experienced gardener so she kept it simple with only sunflowers and peppers.
The seeds themselves were “dead” to her aura sensing abilities. After the seeds soaked in water there was the tiniest hint of life returning to them. When the seeds germinated and sprouted Ava really able to see that they were alive.
The intensity of the plants’ auras changed with the time of day and weather. During sunny days they were full of bright aura, of energy. On cloudy or rainy days less so. Their energy levels undoubtedly influenced by how well they were able to photosynthesize that day. At night their energy levels slowly decreased as they ate up the energy they made during the day. In the mornings before the sun was out was when they were at their lowest levels. Or if Ava forgot to water them it showed in their aura.
While the pepper plants would continue to grow as long as Ava cared for them, the sunflowers eventually died. The last of their energy went into growing seeds, and slowly the rest of the plant began to die and dry up. Thus the cycle was back where it began: with seeds that appeared to be dead. They were waiting for their next opportunity come alive and grow once more.
Ava documented the process in the best way she could, through drawings. Each stage was drawn twice. Once when viewed normally, and the second when viewed with aura. From seed, to sprout, to maturity, with comparisons during the day versus the night, the eventual dying off of the sunflowers, and the growing energy in the peppers as the fruits grew.
With everything complete Ava now had to share her progress with Rex.

Send me a ♡ and I’ll bold what I want to see with our muses and italicize things I may be open to! (send “heart!” if the symbol is unavailable)
I want our muses to be: friends | ex-friends | rivals | rivals with sexual/romantic tension | enemies | enemies with sexual/romantic tension | lovers | ex-lovers | partners/coworkers | pen pals/internet friends | friends with benefits | soulmates (in a entirely platonic sense as in mirrors)
Our muses met: as children | as teenagers | as adults | just recently
(for romance) Our muses’ relationship is: still exciting and lively | stable | starting to feel awkward | in jeopardy | romantic, but the sexual attraction is fading | sexual, but the romantic attraction is fading | toxic and self-destructive | unrequited, with my muse pining after yours | unrequited, with your muse pining after mine | determined by fate
(for rivals) Our muses’ relationship is: awkward | fiery | friendly | petty | mostly for show | losing its spark | starting to develop into something more | one-sided, with my muse considering yours a rival | one-sided, with your muse considering mine a rival | determined by fate
(for enemies) Our muses’ relationship is: dangerous to themselves | dangerous to others | based on family matters | based on professional matters | based on lies/misunderstandings | unpredictable | passionate | nothing personal at first, but changes with time | determined by fate
(for friends) Our muses’ relationship is: stable | sickeningly sweet | the kind of close friendship that makes others jealous | falling apart | based on shared interests | based on circumstance (like school or work) | based on family ties | developing into something more (romantic/sexual) | developing into something more (antagonistic) | determined by fate

T’was the day of Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring not even a ratata. Well... except for Shoki. Everyone was out and busy, and he- rather than deal with snow, was stuck indoors for the moment.
He was frowning, intently listening to a recipe he had found online for a dish Re was rather fond of. Numerous other bowls and plates with food were laid out either ready to cook or already done. This was his fifth attempt at cooking something, and his first attempt at delivering a fully cooked meal.
Fingers gently grazed against a measuring cup, counting out loud how many he needed before shakily pouring he amount he needed into the dish, finally adding it to the oven and turning to his poke tech. “Set time for fifteen minuets..” he commanded, the machine giving of a small ding in response, letting him know it had been set.
The past year had been an interesting one- he grew physically and mentally. He met many people and even was apart of a grand tournament for the firs time. And thought here were great hard ships, Shoki could have never have gotten through it if it hadn’t been for Rex, Sol ,Ava,and even Devon.
He was so lost in thought, he hadn't noticed anything gone awry until he smelled burning from the salmon he was cooking. “Ah- no...dang it..” he cursed under his breath, quickly grabbing for the oven mit on his belt loop. He slipped i on before moving the pan off he burner. Turning it off after some difficulties, the teen finished plating what he had.
A modest dinner including a salad, curry bread, meat buns, peach glazed chicken with a bowl of fruit salad, and of course, the salmon accompanied by a slice of wheat bread, and guacamole- though messily made, he felt rather proud of everything he’d done for them.
Finally he heard them ar
rive back, and when they followed he smell of food into the room, Shoki smiled shyly.
“Hey guys...I can’t do much for you but Merry Christmas..thanks for everything you’ve done for me...”

My Opinion on;
Character in general: For these first two points I’ll go with Rex because I think he’s interacted with Lucas the most out of Sir’s muses. It’s always tricky to answer this question and the next one in the case of an OC, but I stand by the belief that OCs in general are pretty awesome. Rex in particular has such an intriguing background and he’s a really well-developed character. How they play them: Brilliantly. There are so many other words I could use, but they’re all synonyms of ‘brilliantly’ so I’ll leave it at that. The Mun: Sir’s really cool. We’ve only talked ooc like once or twice but each time was super cool. I also admire all the aura headcanons (because I don’t think it’s any secret how much of a sucker I am for aura shenanigans).
Do I:
RP with them: Sometimes, off and on.Want to RP with them: Absolutely!!
What is my;
Overall Opinion: Sir is a delight to have on the dashboard, be it when it comes to Lance or Rex or Silver. :)
**Note: Mun’s answer are all to be completely honest. Don’t send url if you don’t want brutal honesty
