hey there! i live for all these opinion requests recently and i’m so happy to give you one! i’ve already taken a look around your main, so you’re giving me the best reason to dive into the depths of the rp! i’ve only joined a disney group once, like as one of my first experiences ever yet they own my heart? so you’ve already won me over! i might be betraying my brand right now, but the theme and the graphics, holy guacamole. i love them! all of the colors match! the electric neon turquoise with the accent color of the text, the green of the leaves with the graphic on the posts. i love this special touch! the plot is so great! it sounds like the summary at the back of a book, and i’m here for it. i appreciate the historical precision at the end, so it gives a little twist to the peter pan universe i have never seen before! speaking of history, i appreciate you wanting to respect the memory of historical figures. i’ll move on to the rest of the pages and descriptions. i appreciated the meet the admins page! four admins are a lot and it was so sweet to get a little glimpse of their personality. i love the locations!!!!!! it shows the variety of the type of characters you can have around. 

this place is amazing! you have so many wonderful characters from all sorts of disney fandoms and i hope that you guys can get so many more! there’s nothing negative to say about your group! you accept totally spies characters? i can only stan!!!!!! i wish you guys the best of luck because this is one amazing and special roleplay! i highly recommend anyone seeing this to join @starhqs​!!!!

@starhqs Hi! Of course. I’ve put everything under the cut but overall, based on my personal opinions and preferences for roleplay groups, I’d give your roleplay gets an 8/10. Friendly, coherent, and very interesting—a rec for roleplayers out there who love Disney, multifandom groups, and Peter Pan. I love it and I spent half the time I was writing this post just looking through your main for the fun of it.

First Impressions. The first post on your main when I went on was a mod talking about cooking for Shavuot and seriously, have a happy holiday, I’m currently entering the struggle of cooking for Shavuot as well. Anyway, the first thing I noticed about your theme was that it’s very colorful, which I don’t think we see enough of in the rpc anymore, at least not in the groups I usually find. Second, I see a single gif of Killian Jones anywhere and I automatically smile, so you know, fantastic job of choosing to put him on your main. To be honest, I find that really bright themes tend to hurt my eyes a bit but I think the darker post background you have sets it off nicely enough that I don’t need to rub my eyes which is good. I really like your theme and your graphics and the font you used on them it’s so extra I love.

Plot. I’m actually a huge fan of Peter Pan, it’s one of my favorite children’s classics and it’s a book I turn to multiple times a year to revisit that world. I also enjoyed that you set it in the Victorian era. I like the way you wrote your plot, it has a sort of whimsical vibe to it that I think fits the story of Peter Pan.

Lore. There’s a lot to get through here and I really appreciate the effort you made to explain this world so thoroughly and coherently since you’ve clearly put a lot of thought into it as well as incorporating what we already know from the original story. I also like that you broke it up into separate pages for each section because each page does hold quite a bit of information. I personally found myself interested in the ways you delved into each faction and didn’t get bored reading any of the pages. Usually, I would have just skimmed for the sake of writing my general thoughts but I actually read everything you guys wrote and really liked what I saw.

Rules. I seriously like your rules and everything the admins stand by so all I can say is I hope no member violates these rules. I don’t disagree with any of them. I also really admire the way you guys all seem so ready to help include diversity into your group as well as just generally making it a welcome space for people. It shows that you want to keep that standard up and by putting it in your guidelines, you also hold that to your members as well, which is super important.

Characters. It’s a roleplay where people can bring in their own characters so there’s not much to say BUT I have to point out that I like how inclusive you are to other fandoms. Like I could rock up there with Desdemona from Othello and you guys would just be like “Alright, cool, come join the party” which, we have no choice but to stan. It’s not just a Disney roleplay, it’s literally multifandom in every sense of the word.

App. Appless roleplays usually aren’t my thing but I think when you have so much worldbuilding through your lore, it’s not a bad thing.

Overall Thoughts. I’m Peter Pan trash, and now I’m starhqs trash. I love what you’ve got going on here—all the admins seem so nice, so ready to make an inclusive environment for other writers to join them, and just like really decent people. Which, you know, that’s clearly something that seems to be lacking in the community lately. But in all seriousness, I do love this group and it seems like you guys are really building on something great. Groups like these aren’t usually my cup of tea: I’m not an appless or multifandom kind of girl, but I genuinely just dig your roleplay. I see no reason why this wouldn’t be a successful group. I adore it and the ways you guys are looking to create an enjoyable, welcoming space for people to write, get to know each other, and have fun.
