For that TV character trope thingy, you’re obviously the hacker nerd girl who hacks computers and makes it Christmas all the time obviously. It’s a very specific trope but we know it’s true

This one is so gooood!! Nowhere near what I was thinking, but it’s so true? I mean, I don’t know the first thing about hacking computers but I can code a website and make it look and function as intended so that’s something? And you’re damn right I’ll make it Christmas-y!

(My SIL never dated anyone for the first eight years I knew her, and then at the age of 34 she reconnected with a high school friend, fell in love, got married, and had two kids within the next three years, and they're still happily married 16 years later.)

See, these are the kinds of stories I need to hear. ‘Cause the older I get, the more frustrated I get and the worse my self esteem becomes, and it doesn’t get easier when nothing else in your life is falling into place.

@romulan-raptorstar I'm pretty much in the same boat, it just takes time to find the right person and maybe you never will but it's alright to be alone, it doesn't make you any less of an awesome person

Thank you. The thing is I know it’s okay if I never find someone and that it doesn’t make me less of a person, but I want love. So badly. The only dream I have that’s actually worth something (and that I can’t see myself being happy without) is creating a family of my own and sometimes it feels like I’ll never get that.

@staringatgoats Elli, I feel like this a lot and it’s hard and everything sucks and all. But you’re an amazing, wonderful, talented, funny person who I know I like talking to and I’m sure there’s other people out there who feel the same. Just focus on doing the things you enjoy and make you happy.
