This is probably incomprehensible cause it’s 2am where I am but I had to get this out.
GN reader x Jason Todd, pining, summer, basically just that feeling where you’re hanging out and don’t want it to be over. The song they’re singing in this is Granite by Sleep Token. This is incredibly self indulgent.
“We’ll have to do this again sometime,” Roy said, opening the car door. The lights blinded you at first, so used to the only glow coming from the radio.
Jason smiled, the two doing their excessive secret hand shake from a time where they were both younger, sidekicks of Batman and Green Arrow alike. You watched them in awe.
You wondered what it must be like to have that kind of closeness with somebody—not that you didn’t have close friends, but none of you had your own handshake or secret language that followed Roy and Jason. It made something settle heavy in your chest.
Roy looked back at you, giving you a fist bump. “You’re gonna join too, right?”
Warmth settled in your chest as you nodded with a smile. “I’d love to!”
He cheered stepping out of the car while Jason turned to face you from the driver’s side. He gestured to the now vacant passenger seat.
“You can move up front, if you want.”
If he noticed your surprise, he said nothing. You undid your seatbelt and got out of the car. Roy held the door open for you, dramatically. You smiled. Even though it was your first time meeting Jason’s friends it felt like you had known them your whole life.
“Why thank you,” you said hopping into the passenger seat.
Jason rolled his eyes at the display. “Get inside, Roy. It’s cold.”
“It’s summer.”
“Shut up.”
You giggled while Roy finally went to go inside his house. The two of you waited in silence, making sure he got in okay. Once he shot a thumbs up from inside, Jason began to pull out of his driveway.
The music was quiet, calm. You watched the scenery as Jason drove. The night had crept in on the three of you, after visiting various places and restaurants it was time to call it a night.
“Thank you,” you said. Ending the quiet between the two of you.
“For what?”
You shrugged continuing to look out the windshield. “For inviting me, your friends are really sweet.”
He snorts, putting his blinker on. His eyes glow in the dim light of the car. He looks beautiful basked in the various lights of the moon and radio.
“Wait until you hang out with them more, they’re menaces I swear.”
You raise an eyebrow. “Takes one to know one I guess.”
He scoffs. “Rude.”
“Am I wrong?”
He hums, pretending to mull it over. He keeps one hand on the wheel while the other rests under his chin. “I suppose not.”
You sit a little straighter, basking in your small victory. He shakes his head, noticing. He has that look in his eyes, the one that took you a while to decipher but one you figured out anyway. He did it every time you acted a little too dramatic or did one of your quirks.
At first you didn’t know what to make of it but now you know it means one word and only one word: Cute.
It isn’t until then that you notice the song playing and gasp. “I love this song!” You say excitedly.
Jason glances between you and the radio before turning it up.
“Sulfur on your breath. Granite in my chest. You will never have to talk about it. You never want to talk about it.”
Warmth pools in your chest at the action. Happily, you hum along to the song and begin to dance slightly. You catch Jason stealing glances through the corner of your eye.
“I was more than just a body in your passenger seat. You were more that just somebody I was destined to meet. I see you go half blind when you're looking at me. But I am.”
Without warning, Jason puts the windows down, allowing the summer night air to fly through the car. You laugh, looking at Jason. He wears a large troublemaking grin, his black hair flying in the wind. Your breath is stolen from your lungs just looking at him. For the first time since you’ve met him, he looks like any other twenty year old you’ve met; carefree and full of life.
“When you sit there, acting like you know me, acting like you only brought me in to get below me. Never mind the death threats. Parting at the door. We'd rather be six feet under than be lonely.”
You watch the houses pass by and think about how many people you’ve just woken up when it hits you. You’re going back home, part of you never wants this to end.
The realization is a bitter one: you don’t want to go home.
You want to stay here at this moment screaming to this song with Jason. Both of you head banging and laughing at one another while screaming the lyrics like you’re the only two people to exist in the whole world.
You wonder if you’ve ever felt this free before, when you watch Jason once more. He drums on the steering wheel, his voice deep and hypnotic, your heart twists. You wish you could hold his hand.
Before you know it, the song ends and the two of you pull up to your house. He turns the radio down and turns to you, hair still a mess. You smile fondly.
“Tonight was fun,” he says, carding fingers through his hair.
“It was.” You unbuckle your seatbelt and pull your arms over your head. “Not to quote Roy, but he’s right. We should do this again.” You hide the disappointment of the night ending tucked away. You open the car door just as Jason does.
He rounds the front of the car and hugs you. You return the hug, it’s comforting. You feel safe, always feel safe whenever Jason hugs you.
The two of you pull away as you nudge him playfully. “Let me know when you get home. Okay?” It contains the words you want to say but aren’t ready to. I love you, be safe.
Jason ruffles your hair. “I will relax.”
Satisfied with his answer you walk up your front steps and put your key into the lock. Before you get inside he calls after you.
“Hey!” His eyebrows pinch together. He goes to speak before hesitating. He finally settles on two words.

Chaos I had a dream last night that you deactivated and I was relieved when tumblr notified me that you posted oh my goodness
I don't think I would ever have the balls to deactivate lmao I'm put so much time and energy into this blog I would be sad to delete it all 😭😭 but I'm still here and kicking my lil feet vibing ✌🏻
Ooh okay so for Tamaki I feel like he either likes pineapple on pizza or severely judges somebody who does like it. He probably mainly eats cheese and I feel like he can’t control his facial expressions so if somebody says something that shocks him he can’t hide it. He doesn’t have a poker face which causes you to laugh
imagine being severely judged by Tamaki 🫢 he’s like what’s wrong with you?? 😭 lololl nooo but ok, maybe pineapple on pizza isn’t what he prefers but i feel like Tamaki is not much of a picky eater so he’ll eat it (manifesting pineapple could come in handy later after all 🍍💥)
his facial expressions!! all i can think about is going to the store with him and him standing there with widened eyes as the person in line behind you talks way too loudly on the phone about their family drama. you’re listening too and trying not to make it obvious, but then Tamaki’s mouth drops and his head turns to you when they say something unusually shocking and all you can do is laugh as you go to pay for your stuff
rose - how many brain cells would you estimate there are between you and your f/o?
One, we share it so we have to pass it back and forth when we need to use it /hj
buttercup - give an incorrect quote of you and your f/o.
Me: Name a more iconic duo than my fear of abandonment and my crippling anxiety, I'll wait
Tomura: You and me.
Me, tearing up: Okay-
sunflower - do you make fun of or tease your f/o a lot, or can you not bring yourself to be lovingly mean to them?
I do, but not too much lol it's always over meaningless, dumb things bc I'm hyperempathetic and even if we both know I'm 1000% kidding, I feel bad for teasing him :')
For @nkogneatho‘s Dilftober, check out the other amazing writer’s here. Pasi thank you so much for letting me join!!
Special thanks to @renhoeku for beta reading, I appreciate it!!!

Love sucked. Nobody knew that better than you.
It started when you were a teenager. You expected to feel fireworks when you kissed the one you loved and feel a static rise in the air. You waited for that moment, dreamed of it ever since you were little only to feel nothing when you kissed Midoriya Izuku for the first time.
He was wearing a suit, his freckles looking like stardust in the blue lighting of the room. His green hair slick back somewhat, but his curls were still as prominent as ever. You couldn’t help but adore him in that moment as well as the way he softly smiled and cupped your face.
“Can I kiss you,” he whispered almost inaudibly.
Your nerves were on fire as you nodded and leaned in. This was the moment you thought excitedly. You were going to kiss somebody for the first time. You couldn’t wait to feel the sparks, the awe in that moment.
It was just a peck, barely even a kiss. You buried your face in his neck afterwards, barely paying attention to the cheers of your friends. You and Midoriya continued to sway to the slow dance currently playing but you couldn’t stop the nagging in your head, that was it?
After that moment you realized the movies lied to you. While you were sure they exaggerated, you didn’t realize how far the exaggerations were. You fell in love with Midoriya as the months passed by and soon enough you did feel light when you kissed him–you felt sparks.
What the movies didn’t show you was that love was messy.
“I can’t do this anymore.”
He couldn’t even look at you as he said the words. His eyes were trained on the floor. Your heart stuttered while you took in the words. You knew as soon as high school started that the two of you weren’t going to last. He was focused on assignments and extra activities. You started to see him less and less even if you talked about it, nothing changed.
Swallowing the tears that wanted to fall all you could do was nod. “I understand.”
It wasn’t a lie. The two of you both wanted different things, but it didn’t hurt any less when you found out Izuku was dating Ochako a week after you broke up. Gazes that were once filled with happiness morphed into ice in your veins whenever you would see him. It didn’t help that the two of you no longer knew how to act around each other, only that you moved into a different friend group and he continued on his own circle of people.
You didn’t have any interest in dating people during the months after that. The first breakup is always the worst, especially during the first relationship where you fall in love for the first time. It felt warm, safe even. Just the two of you against the world. It did, however, have it’s problems which worked out for the best that you split up.
“Don’t worry about it,” Shinsou told you when you accidentally locked eyes with Midoriya as he was walking to his table. “He doesn’t know what he’s missing.”
You and Shinsou had an interesting relationship to say the least. It wasn’t what people would call conventional, but to the two of you it was perfect. Before Midoriya the two of you were in a queer platonic relationship that consisited of what couples and friends would do like holding hands, cuddling and overall being comfortable but with no romantic feelings involved.
It was comfortable with a deep understanding between the two of you. For the first time you weren’t worried about people looking at the two of you or making people uncomfortable. It was a feeling similar to a flower, it spread throughout your chest, your bond growing stronger sending its roots to wash over you and feel like home.
The only difficulty with having a relationship like that with nothing to look up to was that the line between platonic and romantic seemed to fall into gray.
“Okay, so let’s break it down,” you said with a giggle looking down at the venn diagram the two of you decided to make. It was nice, leaning close to Shinsou almost like the two of you were working on this big case when in reality it was ridiculous.
He smiled and began to list the things the two of you did, discussing each one as you put them into categories between platonic, romantic and in the center was the gray line between the two. Looking back on it, you realize just how fine that area is. Nothing is just strictly platonic or romantic and that proved it.
Needless to say, you calculated the result and it seemed mathematically the two of you weren’t compatible, but you didn’t care and neither did he. You wanted to be together and felt safe with one another. This time you were sure that you'd last longer than you and Midoriya had and you felt comfortable with him more so than your ex.
You had been childhood friends and knew each other longer than that. It was perfect, you decided smiling as Shinsou blushed while holding your hand.
It wasn’t.
It was messy to say the least. It was his first relationship while for you it was the second. You knew what you wanted, or at least you thought you did. It was like the two of you were strangers almost. He was more of a dreamer, creating a whole future with you–you understood him. You had done the same with Midoriya, but now you were more of a realist. You could only offer a small smile when he’d go off on tangents about the life you two would have together.
If it weren’t for the fact that you were still hopelessly young, you would’ve swooned at his words, but they seemed more of a fact than a promise.
“We’ll live next to Aizawa and Yamada and own two cats. We’ll be in the countryside and settle down there.”
As beautiful as that sounded, you couldn’t stop yourself from tensing. You wanted to travel, to live in the city and to do what you wanted. You didn’t want to settle down. However you didn’t want to hurt him so you kept your mouth shut and wrapped your arms around his waist as the two of you watched the sunset.
“It’s beautiful, isn’t it?” You asked him in awe of the purples, oranges and blues dancing in the sky. You felt his heartbeat under your palm as he turned and kissed your forehead.
“It sure is.”
That was one moment you’d never forget. Truth be told you had fun dating Shinsou, but in the end you knew it was time to split up. The laughs and smiles were far and few between. He began to reach out to you with his struggles which wasn’t an issue at all–you loved him and would do anything for him. The only issue was there wasn’t any reciprocation on his part.
There were no good morning texts or texts just to check in and when you talked to him about a problem you had it was met with silence so you stopped talking about it. He was focusing on his own things, he didn’t have time to listen to yours.
It began to be a give and take relationship. You were always giving, making sure he was okay, asking what he was up to, reaching out first. In the beginning it didn’t bother you, but as it continued even stone wears away with time.
“I feel like you don’t love me anymore,” he told you one day, his purple eyes weighed heavy as he gazed into yours.
“What?”
You dropped your pencil onto the notebook in front of you and turned to face him completely. Around you, your classmates were all furiously typing away, still completing the assignment. He let out a small laugh, but it sounded more pained than anything else.
“So it’s true then, right?”
You casted your gaze onto the table in front of you. “I’m sorry Shinsou,” with that you looked into his eyes once more. How were you supposed to tell him that you were so tired, constantly tired and didn’t have the motivation or energy to carry on with your relationship? You loved him, really you did, but how were you supposed to tell him it was only friendship that was left.
“I love you I do, it’s just,” I can’t do this anymore. Midoriya’s words haunted you, causing you to hesitate before saying. “I need to better my mental health,” you reached out to hold his hand carefully while he let you with furrowed brows.
“I just need time.”
He smiled through the tears swimming down his face, shaking his head with a small laugh. “I love you too, but I have to say I liked it better when we were just friends.”
You let out the breath you didn’t know you were holding.
From that point on you did exactly as you said you would; you focused on yourself.
It was easier than you thought, enjoying being single. You watched your friends get into arguments and break up with their significant others time and time again and you were relieved that you weren’t on the end of it.
It took time and effort, but by the end of it you knew what you wanted and were content with what you had. Who needed a relationship when you could spoil your friends just as much as a significant other?
Sure it was lonely at times, but you preferred it that way and maybe you’d end up dating again but you weren’t hyperfocused on it. If it happened it happened and if it didn’t you’d shrug, oh well.
That all changed as soon as college hit.
“What’s your type Y/N?”
You removed one earbud, and turned to face Mina who was currently sitting in her cheetah print bean bag. Her tattooed eyes were fixated on you as an amused smile fell onto her lips. You fidgeted with your hands.
“I don’t know how to explain it.”
“Try me,” she said leaning forwards like you were going to tell the most interesting story in the world. You racked your brain trying to find the right words, you knew Mina wouldn’t laugh at you but it had been a while since anybody asked you.
“I don’t know,” you began. “I guess I’d want somebody who is older than I am and acts like he is. I never really got to be babied because I grew up too fast so being able to finally act my age would be great. I’d want somebody who would look at me soft I guess.”
After you finished there was a moment of silence before Mina practically jumped on you.
“You’re so adorable,” she squealed, holding you close to her with a wide smile. “I just want to wrap you tightly in a hug and never let you go.”
You smiled in her embrace. This, you supposed, was love too.
Nothing would ever prepare you for the day you met Dabi. You wanted a tattoo, always had and it was perfect when Toga said her father was a tattoo artist. You never met him, but from the way Toga talked about him he was nothing short of intimidating. He adopted her when she was younger and always made sure to act like the dad he wanted his father to be. From what she told you, he had a rough life but through that learned what man he wanted to be.
To meet somebody Toga cared so much about, you felt nothing short of honored, but you couldn’t help but scratch at your nose while you took a deep breath. “What if he doesn’t like me?” Your voice was barely above a whisper.
She only rolled her eyes, brushing her fringe out of her face, sending you a small smirk. Her pixie cut blowing in the wind. “Oh please, of course he’ll like you.” Her voice held something other than amusement in it, but before you could find a name to it she opened the door and skipped into the parlor.
“Dad, I have somebody I want you to meet,” she sing songed. You followed right behind her, rubbing your arm.
“I’ll be out there in a second,” a deep voice rang out in the back room.
Your nerves lit on fire as your mind began to race with an onslaught of thoughts. You really really wanted him to like you, what if he didn’t? What if Toga was wrong? What would happen then? Would the two of you still be friends?
“Relax, I’m not going to bite,” his gruff voice pulled you out of your head. He was decked out in piercings and tattoos while his hair was pitch black. He leaned against the door frame, crossing his arms over his chest as he smirked. “Unless you’re into that.”
Toga groaned while you were sure your heart stopped. There was no way, did he just hit on you?
You were going to speak up until a sharp laugh cut you off. Dabi was hunched over against the doorway and began to wipe away tears as Toga shook her head.
“Dad stop, you’re gonna give them a heart attack!”
He waved her off catching his breath. “I’m sorry I just, you should’ve seen your face. You looked like you were going to shit yourself.” With that he stuck out his hand towards you. “Anyways, I’m Dabi and I’m excited to meet the infamous Y/N that my daughter talks so much about.”
Just like that the butterflies were back.
From that point on you had no idea what you felt for the man. He was everything you wanted, but he was your best friend’s dad. That had to break several secret codes of friendship and besides there was no way he’d ever feel the same.
You were perfectly okay with that. You didn’t want to compromise anything and beside you fantasized about it plenty of times. Most nights it was about how his chest would feel underneath you, about how his fingers would feel threaded through your hair and even how warm he must be.
Other nights it was more dangerous, how his tongue would feel against yours, how deep he’d be able to get his fingers inside you, how sexy his groans must be. You couldn’t help rutting yourself into your pillow at the thought of him praising you.
‘That’s my pretty little thing, keep moving your hips just like that’
It didn’t matter what position you imagined the two of you in, his voice would always find you.
‘God, you’re so perfect for me aren’t you. Tell me how good it feels, baby.’
You sighed into your empty room, moving your hips faster, pleasure sparked through your back.
‘Feels so good, you’re so deep. I love it when your hands are all over me touching me in the places you know I’ll lose my mind.’
He’d hold you tighter, pin you closer towards him, making you feel small in his hold. ‘Yeah?’ he’d breathe continuing to thrust slowly into you, making you lose your mind at the slow roll of his hips.
‘Gonna be good and cum for me? Well then do it, cum for me baby.’
That was all it took for you to lose it, hips stuttering into your pillow. The guilt always came after the initial high wore off. You needed to stop, just thinking about him like that made you advert your gaze from him the next time you saw each other.
He was always so kind when you visited. He’d get back from work late into the evening and smile at Toga before gazing at you, a soft expression falling onto his face as he says, “Hi kid.” You knew it was wrong, you were wrong but part of you couldn’t stop the feelings.
It was in the way he’d focus on you whenever you were talking to him and Toga about a big test or the way he’d wordlessly hand you one of the snacks he’d hide and give to you when you were at your lowest.
The two of you didn’t have a proper conversation until Toga had to head out for class but told you, you could stay at the house. You agreed, Dabi had the day off work and so it was just the two of you sitting on the black leather couch watching a movie.
You made sure to keep your focus on the television the entire time, constantly reminding yourself not to look at the way the black turtle neck tank top hugged his figure and revealed his sleeve of tattoos. You most certainly didn’t focus on the way he’d leave heated glances in your direction.
“Do I scare you?” He asked turning down the television so he could concentrate on you. He gestured down the hallway where you knew his room was. “Because if I do I can leave you alone, I don’t want to make you uncomfortable.”
You only shake your head. “You don’t scare me, I just get nervous sometimes I guess.” You point to your head. “Intrusive thoughts just suck sometimes, I feel like I make you uncomfortable if anything.”
He doesn’t say anything for a moment. Electric blue eyes fall away into something distant. “They do, I’m sorry you have to go through that.”
You shrug it off. “It isn’t a big deal, it’s just life. I bounce back and it doesn’t even happen all the time anymore.”
That earns a small upturned smile, it’s bitter and twisted. “You grew up too fast, didn’t you.” It wasn’t a question judging by the way he said it as if it was common knowledge. Nerves forgotten, you nodded.
“I guess we’re the same in that regard, don’t you think?”
For a split second Dabi stared at you like he was seeing you for the first time. There was a small smirk on his face as he brought a rootbeer up to his lips. “I suppose so,” he said, taking a sip.
From that point on you and Dabi were comfortable around each other. You found yourself there more often than not even if Toga wasn’t home. There was something about the way he’d genuinely give you advice and act as a mentor with the projects you were working on that grew you to be closer to the man.
It wasn’t until the two of you were at a park heading to a park where you were taking pictures of the sunset that it hit you. You were in love with him. You processed all the times the two of you would talk or visit with each other, the way he’d guide you through a busy street with his hand around your waist. The way the two of you would be close to each other without needing a reason.
The way the both of you could depend on each other and live two separate lives. You wanted to be with him, it wasn’t just physical, you wanted to wake up next to him and hear him laugh and chose to be in love with him. You didn’t want to fall anymore, you wanted to grasp his hand and rise into what the two of you wanted. You wanted to choose and you chose him.
He noticed a change in your demeanor because the next second he was next to you. “What is it?”
“Let’s get out of here.”
“Shit, you’re so beautiful baby, I've wanted this for so long.” Dabi groaned by your ear, kissing your shoulder as he bottomed out inside of you. His tattooed arms gripped your hips in a way that you were sure you’d feel the next day, but that didn’t matter.
Tears fell from your eyes as he began to move, every thought in your head escaped with it.
“Feels, Ah, feels so good don’t stop, please don’t stop.” You couldn’t believe this was happening. After pining for so long, it was finally happening. You couldn’t help but bring his lips to yours. You felt passion and love in the way his tongue tangled with yours. There were no fireworks, but your body burned from the kiss. You needed more. Every thrust he would leave behind words of praise that would make a place for themselves in the marks Dabi is leaving behind.
Your voice is breathy and higher pitched now. You can feel him everywhere. He laughs by your ear, it’s breathy and sends burning heat straight to your core.
“Yeah?” He asks, it’s deep and almost vibrates against your skin. “You like when a man knows how to take care of you, hm?”
“Love it, I love it so much, so much please—“
You can’t help but nod and reach behind you to grasp onto one of his wrists. You can feel the metal of his lip piercing as he places a chaste kiss against your shoulder blade. It makes you feel wanted, he makes you feel wanted.
Almost twice your age and doesn’t look it at all. His black hair being replaced with white hairs only makes him more attractive, especially when he’s wearing a black choker around his neck.
One of his hands travels down your body and comes to play with one of your nipples. You moan, focusing on the mirror in front of you. You’re surprised it took you this long to notice. Catching your reflection a grin stretches on his face. His teeth on display causing the piercings on his nose to shimmer under the fluorescent light.
He slows down into a slow grind. A high whine rises out of your throat causing him to coo. He watches himself in the mirror while he brings a hand to wipe at your tear filled eyes. “You’re so pretty like this kitten, so beautiful. Nobody can make you feel this good can they?”
“Nobody, just you daddy, only you.” You couldn’t catch your breath between Dabi’s heated gaze sending fire throughout your entire body or the way he’s slowly stroking your insides, hitting all the right places. His Jacob's ladder added a whole new level of pleasure. You manage to catch his gaze in the mirror, almost not being able to take how soft his features get as he’s watching you fall apart.
His eyes widen in shock before a smirk completely overtakes it. “Daddy, huh?” He muses aloud to himself before picking up his pace. “That’s good little one, you’re doing so well you know that-fuck-you’re mine aren’t you. My kitten, my baby, mine and mine alone, yeah?”
You can barely focus on his words as you feel yourself nearing the edge, from the way his groans are becoming more and more frequent you can tell he’s close too. It takes you a second to realize you’re babbling.
“Yours, yours, yours fill me up please daddy please. Can take it, I can take it just please.”
A soothing hand takes the one you used to latch onto his wrist and instead, interlocks itself with yours. With his other, he cups your face and pulls you into a heated kiss. Your toes curl at the act, you can still taste yourself on his tongue from the way he prepared you earlier.
“M right here baby, gonna take such good care of you, alright?” He quickly flips you over onto your back, you barely have any time to recover before he's thrusting once more. From this angle you can see him and waste no time wrapping an arm around his back to pull him closer.
He swears his vision whites out as the force brings him closer to you. “Fuck,” the breathy laughs comes back once more as he regains his balance before he almost collapsed on top of you. “Gonna kill me sweetheart. You’re too perfect.” Blue eyes burn into yours. “Can you tell me who owns this dick? This dick that makes you feel so good?”
He doesn’t wait for you to respond, his arms bracing above you, your hands still intertwined. “You do, you own me. You know that? No one-shit-no one else could ever compare to you.”
You can’t help but wrap your legs around the small of his back making sure he stays close, that he’s not going anywhere. You don’t think you could handle it if he goes anywhere. You’d never be the same.
“‘M close, please I can’t hold it I can’t, I can’t I can’t-”
He shushed you as he rested his forehead against yours. “Course you can, baby, it’s yours, all of this belongs to you.” Your heart stutters at the unspoken promise within those words, the silent ‘I belong to you’ makes your head spin. You love him, you love him and that’s all it takes for you to tumble over the edge.
“Cumming, I’m cumming fuck.” He goes to pull out but you only bring him closer. His eyes widen as he tries to pull out again but you won’t let him. “Baby, baby fuck I can’t-I can’t hold it.”
You send a small smirk his way. “Then do it daddy, fill me up.”
With a strangled fuck he all but collapses on top of you, filling you up in the process. The two of you stay like that for what feels like forever but it was only a couple minutes. When he lifts his head he looks into yours, searching for something when a dopey smile appears on his face making him seem younger than he is.
“Hi,” is all you can manage earning a laugh from him. He braces himself up slightly, you can see the flower tattoos swirling around the sleeves he adorns on both arms. One day you want to trace your fingers over each one and drive him insane until he can’t help it but flip you over and fuck you.
“Hey,” he says back cupping your cheek. You lean into it causing a fond look to adorn his features. You did this enough to know that he’s making sure you’re okay. Soon enough he speaks.
“You okay?” You can feel his chest rumble with how deep his voice is. You smile and manage a small nod.
“I wanted that for a long time, of course I’m okay.”
He kisses your forehead with a small laugh. “I did too,” his face transforms back into concern. “I didn’t go too hard did I?”
“M okay, can we cuddle now?”
He snorts at the question and rolls his eyes but it holds no malice to it.
“We’re all messy, we need to shower first love.”
You shoot him a look and snuggle closer to him. “Shower can wait, sleep is now.”
He stays there for a moment before ultimately sighing and pulling you closer to him while he lays down. You hum softly as his hand rubs small circles onto your back. You let yourself bask in his warmth. You’re both sweaty and gross, but it doesn’t matter. All that matters now is laying on Dabi’s chest feeling each rise and fall of his breath, following the movement. You were exactly where you wanted to be.
“You’re unbelievable, you know that?” He’s looking down on you with soft eyes and a lazy smile he only gets after he’s completely relaxed. You hum and place a kiss on his chest.
“Unbelievably yours,” is all you can respond back with, closing your eyes.
Before you drift off you feel a rumble of laughter. “Yeah,” he says, rubbing circles into your back. “Unbelievably mine.”
Love was messy, sure, but you had the feeling you were getting the hang of it.
When your depression gets bad, Bakugou would make sure you get out of bed to go to classes, but if you miss one he’ll reassure you and let you cuddle into him.
Mina and Kirishima would grab snacks and wrap a blanket around you while Shinsou would have the notes or brief run down to whatever you missed.
Sero would thread his fingers through your hair and cuddle you. He’d whisper soft words of praise while the rest of the Bakusquad would pile onto your too small bed and hold you close.
Jirou would put on her calm playlist and kiss your cheek with a pink blush on her face.
Kami would talk in a lower voice about anything and everything, how his day was, what he’s looking forward to when finals are over and even where he wants to take all of you on a date.
It’s safe and it’s warm and even if you feel bad about staying in bed/sleeping they’d reassure you that you need the rest and they’ll watch over you. The day ends with Bakugou making food for everybody and you all watching YouTube videos. You’re sandwiched between Bakugou and Sero as they rub soothing circles into your skin.
And if you lean into Bakugou’s chest halfway through the video and smile at the soft coos that breach the air, well that’s nobody’s business but your own.
