Interesting question, not if Moffat is the leader. Otherwise I really don't care whether the Doctor is woman or man as long as it's well written.

Rose should have stayed with the Tenth Doctor and returned to her universe along with her family. Ten Too would be left to work and help Torchwood with Martha and Jack.

Will the 50th anniversary special be composed of Rose/Ten and Clara/Eleven? I don't know, but that doesn't seem so special. Series 4 finale had everyone! Shouldn't they bring back more Doctors and companions? It shouldn't be so limited. What do you think?

Well. I’m obviously a little biased about this by my dislike of Moffat’s handling of the show. But from my perspective, it seems like the 50th Anniversary is going to be more of a Moffat spectacular. As in, the focus is going to be on this “shiny new wibbly wobbly plot" he’s come up with, aka John Hurt’s “Doctor", and everything that goes around that (I’ll be shocked if it DOESN’T have something to do with someone wanting to harm/kill/hurt the Doctor), and Ten/Rose will just kind of be thrown in. I want to say they’re only in the episode because the BBC was like “hey you need to stick them in because we need some old cast and they’re the most popular", but again, I’m biased. I’m amazed we got Ten/Rose, I wouldn’t have been surprised if Moffat’s idea of a spectacular was more like “A Good Man Goes to War", and featured HIS era companions, and River, and Strax and Jenny and Vastra, etc.

Frankly, before we knew what was happening, I had high hopes for a real spectacular. Something with all the companions of past and present coming back to help him, from RTD-era (Rose, Donna, Martha, Mickey, Jack, etc etc) and Moffat-era (Amy, Rory), but also some of the older ones from Classic Who that are still around/able. And even better if he could have gotten Nine and Ten, but also one or two of the Classic Doctor’s.

I thought it was going to be something like Journey’s End, heck even Classic Who managed episodes like The Five Doctors. Seriously, the 50th Anniversary, and the best we can do is some crappy episode about a “new" made up reincarnation of the Doctor? I don’t have high hopes, frankly. But I guess we’ll see.

I really think the one-off companions (Christina de Souza, Astrid Peth) deserve more appreciation. Do you think it would be a good idea to bring, say, Christina back as a regular? Or at least as a one-off companion once again in another episode?

I liked Christina a lot, honestly, I would like to see her come back for an episode or two. Also, I was surprised that Jenny never came back. I thought they were setting up for it. Actually in my head, I think, if RTD never left and Ten didn't regenerate, Jenny would have made a good companion for after Donna. The Doctor travelling with his 'family' again, sort of like he did with Susan and all, etc. Idk.
