Who do you think texted Steve about Peggy's death?
My initial thought was one of her family members who was likely at her side or perhaps the facility where she was staying. The number doesn’t have a contact attached to it in Steve’s phone, so it seems likely it isn’t someone he knows personally, but recognizes at least the area code. Then my tinfoil hat hops on my head and says, hmmmm....isn’t the timing of all this suspicious? Who organized Rumlow’s raid? Who was the buyer for the bioweapon, if there was really a buyer? I’m leaning towards that whole thing was planned to get the Avengers in a situation where innocent people die, because Wanda or not, when that vest goes off, Steve, Rumlow, and the incredibly stupid civilians just standing around watching a superhero fight are toast. So, anyway, Peggy’s death, while expected, just seems to be one of those things that I’ll always sort of wonder about.
