Blast to the Past // CLOSED
It was raining when it happened. The rain is what made Loki just a few seconds too late. He slipped on a branch and Mr. and Mrs. Stark were killed. He knew what the Templars would put in the papers, that it was an accident. There was nothing accidental about it. The entire thing was staged just to get two big threats out of the way.
He couldn't save them, and it wasn't from lack of trying. Howard died on impact. Loki figured good riddens to the traitor. He would have been executed anyway. But Maria, poor Maria, he tried to save her. She was barely clinging to life when he found her. She just made him promise one thing, to keep their son out of all this. She died right after he swore.
Now it was time to tell said son. Despite the promise, he was going to make sure this teenage boy knew the truth. What he did with it was his business.
Which is what led Loki to climbing swiftly up to the boy's balcony. He got the door open and rushed over to the bed, shaking the boy awake.
"Anthony, wake up, this is important," he hissed. He had made sure his hood was still up to shade his face from view. After all, he had no way of knowing how much Howard's Templar ideals had infected him.
