tony stark gaining nebula’s trust, playing games in space with her, working with her, being completely open with her, giving her space to grow as a person and her developing genuine trust with someone, an actual friendship, an unbreakable bond that led her the rest of the movie, tony did that.

he gave her last piece of food they had, completely unselfish act, and her giving it back because he needed it more, tony did that.

nebula opening up to the team, becoming trustworthy and equal, not falling back into her old ways, never trusting or falling under thanos’ abusive influence and desire to make him proud, tony did that.

after years of physical and mental abuse beyond imaginable, he was the person that made her trust someone beside gamora. he led her to believe humans can be worthy companions, friends, family. by playing silly games while stranded in space he showed her she is much more than a weapon and that others can see that.

a random thought: I wish we’d have gotten more than a 2-second scene with Tony, Sharon, and Natasha together! I also wished for more Tony and Natasha and more Pepper and Natasha interactions. AND I wish they’d have shown Tony and Carol’s friendship like the comics. Basically, I just want more positive Tony interactions ♥

Pairing I am not a fan of: St*ve/P*ggy, St*ve/B*cky, Cl*nt/N*tasha

Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): ALL of the Captain America characters. :( :( :( I've spent the last year reading the comics, and I could not be sadder. The characterization is just so off, especially Steve’s, and Sharon was so disrespected. She’s a main character in the Cap comics, but you wouldn’t know it from the MCU. :(  And Bucky and Sam are so much more complex in the comics too. I don’t understand what happened. I also feel like none of the writers outside of those who worked on the Iron Man trilogy have ever watched the IM movies because they do not seem to see beyond Tony’s public persona which is SO different than who he is as a person. I could name so many more, but I won’t! I love the MCU, but it frustrates me a lot lol

Favourite Friendship: Tony/Rhodey!
