figured it was time for a new obligatory about me-post to pin to my blog hiii hello

i'm addi, they/them, european, old af and have been in fandom for over half my life. i'm disabled, queer, my job is beach something with IT and i'm an aspiring network engineer. printer not working? call me! i'll kick it, hard, and hope it works again ✌🏻 the local computer nerd, that's me.

this blog is a multifandom mess and i'll post about pretty much everything i love - ranging from sci-fi over theatre/musicals and politics to fantasy and video games. yknow, the whole nerdy shebang. i tag everything accordingly. if i'm missing a tag or tw/cw, lemme know!

the thing is that when you decide to watch lars and the real girl all you're gonna know ahead of time is that it's a ryan gosling movie from 2007 about a grown man who orders a sex doll online and treats the doll like it's his real girlfriend. and naturally you'll go "what a strange premise for a romcom! surely this movie will primarily be making jokes at the expense of Guy Who Pretends His Doll Is Real." and then 1.5 hours later you'll be sobbing at your stupid kitchen table about family and community and positive representations of mental illness. and youll go what the fuck just happened to me
