Starlight and Sterling were always getting in each other’s way. He was from a small family of spellcasters. When Starlight set out on her own she wasn’t sure what she was looking for. It was Sterling who stopped her from causing mayhem with her magic after having a run in with a cruel human and it was Sterling who calmed her down when Starlight was upset about her family abandoning her. Best friends soon turned to lovers and they rarely ever apart from each other. Liam liked Sterling because he made Liam’s job a lot easier. Starlight found a new family with this young and brooding spellcaster. They would move heaven and earth for each other.

Guardians

They are meant to stay in the shadows. The most powerful of the occult beings. Guardians are basically high powered magical police that keep watch over all magical beings. All of the higher magical families have a guardian assigned to keep them in line. Most guardians are never even seen but most guardians don’t have Starlight Perry as their charge. Through her father Starlight is connected to one of the most powerful spellcaster families. She has also been known to be the most unpredictable with her magic. Liam Rhys has lived for thousands of years and has never seen so much chaos in one person. Over the years Starlight has worn him down into being her friend but the guardian still keeps his distance.
