these facts aren't really- random per-se they're just the ones I happened to think of first
he went to jail for murder, Blackgate Penitentiary specifically, only served 10 years of his sentence before being released due to overcrowding (cause that gotham crime rate, am i right) and good behaviour
he's a year younger than Bruce
he took the first job he could get after being released from Blackgate, and it was a job working as one of The Penguin's goons
he met his girlfriend, Viv, while she was working at The Iceberg Lounge
he hasn't talked to Bruce since his trial when he was like- 20
Alfred makes sure to call him once a week, and every week tries to convince him to talk to Bruce
Atticus sees Batman one (1) time and he just immediately distrusts him, he can't explain why he just- does and it's definitely not because it's bruce not at allllll
him and Viv rent an apartment with Selina and Annika
