There are just some things I wish he'd do.

I love him, i really do, and on thursday it will be 7 months together. This is literally my second longest relationship and of course i don't want/expect it to mess up... But there are still some things I wish he'd do for me, for us. 1. On valentines day he promised me flowers. I have yet to receive such flowers. This doesn't really upset me so much as disappoint me. A promise is a promise and i am still a girl who has yet to EVER receive flowers from a man. Or even friends for that matter... I love the idea of random gifts. Just little surprises to let me know he cares (I quote Blink 182 on this because Small Things is now playing in my head). 2. He seems scared to talk about serious subjects even though we have been dating SEVEN MONTHS. He just gets super quiet and kind of chuckles the seriousness away. I don't understand this. We may be crazy, but so far we do intend to stay together and have even talked about MOVING states away. Now this is a serious subject that he does seem keen on but probably because it would be moving to his original home town. Well call me old fashioned or something, but i am NOT moving states away without a ring of AT LEAST engagement. We aren't talking anytime too soon here, at least, somewhere between 1 year to 3 maybe. Who knows where life will take us, me, or him. 3. This goes back to number one, kind of. I never was the best writer in the class. But I just want some romance! Surely a nice dinner date out ever now and then could be swingable??? I guess not... All in all I am a typical girl (despite my deposition) who wants typical girl things. (Not all the girl things, but being female i am allowed to act like one sometimes.) Anyway, that ends this particular rant. Goodnight all, Starlitfire
