Mark: This is the end, huh? I made some great friends on this planet.

(he pauses)

Mark: Chapter 7, Section C, Subsection Sigma: In short, never get attached to anyone you save. It’s not like you’ll be around them for very long.

(he sighs heavily)

Mark: Sometimes I wish that wasn't a real code.

(he pauses again)

Mark: Amy became the leader of the new Planet Peebles.

(he lets out a small laugh)

Mark: I’ll miss her cheese cakes, but she did leave us some for the road. She’s the best…

(he’s silent for a moment)

Mark: Captain Mark out.

Commander Jack, Mission 26, Log 42

[BEGIN LOG]

Jack: This is Commander Jack reporting in,

( distant gun fire is heard)

Jack: Reinforcements are finally here and we are getting everyone off of the planet. Mark and Tom stayed back to fight off the beast. Leim is taking a head count, and Billy is making sure everyone’s okay. As of right now, I have been instructed to wait on the ship with everyone else.

(he’s quiet for a moment, occasional distant gun fire breaking the silence)

Jack: I guess I’m here to supervise, but Mark said wait. He said to stay here and make sure no one gets in trouble.

(he sighs)

Jack: He just treats me like a child sometimes, but I could be helping so much more if he just trusted--

(he’s quiet then sighs again)

Jack: Never mind that last part. I need to get back to everyone.

Captain Mark, Mission 30, Log 50

[BEGIN LOG]

Mark: A missing planet? How? Like I would get a few people, but an entire planet? When we arrived a few tics ago the entire planet of Glactictron was just missing. It was there on the sensors, but then it just wasn’t. What happened? There is no way a planet can just disappear! It’s not scientifically possible! How--

(he pauses for a moment)

Mark: We need to find out what’s going on here. Captain Mark out.

Commander Jack, Mission 30, Log 44

[BEGIN LOG]

Jack: Commander Jack reporting in. We have been called to check on a Planet Called Glactictron, since we were the only ship near this sector. It wasn’t responding to any communications and we got a looping distress call, but then it went dead silent. Turns out the whole fucking planet just disappeared.

(pause, then frantically)

Jack: How can a planet just disappear? It just doesn’t make any sense.

(he takes a breath)

Jack: We have to get to the bottom of this. Commander Jack over and out.

Captain Mark, Mission 26, Log 48

[BEGIN LOG]

Mark: We have Successfully cleared the planet and are now relocating the people of Laygo. Thankfully almost all of them survived. There were reports of maybe twenty people at most who were killed by the Zalgore when it first arrived. The millions who are left aren’t too happy and everyone keeps arguing. They’ve decided to split off into factions. A few even started to fight.

(he pauses, then speaks quietly)

Mark: Amy is very sweet, though, and helps us calm down the conflicts.

(he coughs, then speaks at normal volume)

Mark: The apparent heads of the factions are trying to appoint a new leader, but it’s not going too well--

(he’s cut off by loud arguing and fighting from outside the room)

Mark: Yikes, there they go again. I need to take care of that. Captain Mark out.

Captain Mark, Mission 30, Log 51

[BEGIN LOG]

Mark: Alright, to summarize Zerginoff’s distress signal, the planet was being attacked by something--something big. He didn’t do too well explaining it, but according to Zerginoff it had a mouth of fire and a body of stone. It appeared in the sky, apparently destroyed the planet, and then nothing. The signal cut off and the planet disappeared.

(he pauses)

Mark: I have never heard of anything like this. We’ve put out a message to other civilizations in this sector to look for anything matching that description, so we’re hoping we’ll get a ping before it attacks again. Mark out.

Commander Jack, Mission 30, Log 45

[BEGIN LOG]

Jack: Our scanners and radar aren’t picking up anything. There is nothing out here. How could they all just--

(he pauses and clears his throat)

Jack: The last distress signal came from the leader Zerginoff. It was cut off short but…

(he pauses again)

Jack: I don’t know. I just don’t know.

Jack: We’ve just reached the new location for the people of Laygo to live. Everyone is irritated and now we have to stay and help rebuild their planet and life. This oughta be oh-so-much FUN.

(he huffs out a breath)
