Hshshshhshahahha 😅😅
WE CAN STILL BE FRIENDS! Then could I make another request? A Robin x Starfire? How about Starfire frightened by a thunderstorm in the middle of the night? Sorry, I hate giving prompts. I feel so pushy when I do! I'm sorry!
Do not feel pushy about prompts! I will always tell people if I can’t or don’t want to write a request!

Starfire’s hands shook just slightly as her fingers tightened on the door handle leading to Robin’s room. Wincing, she looked down and saw the perfect indent of her fingers on the steel knob. Another wave of that atrocious noise rumbled through the hallways, shaking the walls enough to rattle the artwork hanging from them. Her heart burst into her throat and she found herself suddenly crouching down on the floor, tucking her head in between her knees.
The noise, it reminded her of marching. Of the sound of millions of feet slowly encroaching her space. Of…
Images she had worked so hard to forget jumped into her head, stealing what little strength she had left. Starfire whimpered and tried to find a calming breath hiding in her lungs - there was nothing there.
"Make it stop…" She whispered to herself. "Please, make it stop…"
"Make what stop?”
Starfire picked up her head and looked into the blue eyes that reminded her of a safe place; eyes that reminded her of home. She felt her arm reach out for him, fingers tightening in the edge of his cape as she tried to pull him closer.
"The noise, Robin. Please… please make the noise stop."
Robin, without hesitating dropped onto the floor next to her, immediately pulling her into his warmth. She could feel the fluttering of his pulse against her skin. He was afraid for her, worried about what was happening, and why she was afraid. His arms wrapped tighter around her shoulders, and he tucked her head under his chin, beginning a slow rocking movement as he did so. It was as if he was cradling a baby, lulling it back to sleep.
Starfire buried her face into his throat and she gasped again as another wave of thunder tore through the tower. Her hands shook as her fingers found the folds of his uniform, holding onto him as if he was her only saving grace. ”The noise… it reminds me of-“
"I know," he cut her off, pressing kisses to the top of her head. "I know, Star. You don’t have to talk about it."
Her fingers tightened enough to punch holes through the Kevlar in his uniform, but he didn’t even flinch. Instead, he wrapped his cape around her shoulders, creating a cocoon for her, and inviting her to let him protect her. Starfire sniffled, letting him be the one to comfort her.
She needed him now more than ever.
She needed him to keep the memories at bay.
"And this one…?"
"A bullet from one of the Joker’s guns." Robin looked over his shoulder at her, a small, almost secretive smile playing across his lips.
Starfire didn’t meet his eyes, instead she was completely entranced with the gnarled scar that ran down his shoulder blade, her fingertips dancing over over the smooth, shiny skin. Robin felt her moist, warm breath curl over his back, sending nearly impercievable ribbons of her emotions with each soft, gasp. In a moment of heart-stopping innocence, she tucked her mass of bright red hair behind her ears and kissed the scar with her warm, soft lips.
Robin buried his face into the feather pillow under his head to try and hide his smile from her. Her fingers slid down his back to a long, thin scar that crisscrossed over his left hip.
"I took a tumble as a kid at the circus."
She traced the shape of the white lines, before kissing over the curve of his hip, her tongue darting out to taste his skin. She practically purred as he shifted under her, his body reacting to her curious, soft exploration. Her hands palmed his hips before turning him over onto his back, straddling his waist as her hair tickled down his chest, touching him like the brush of fairy wings.
He smiled up at her, her hands now touching another scar closer to his neck. Her eyes turned sad, the bright green light in them fading slightly. She avoided his stare and swirled her fingertips over the skin.
"I am sorry for this one."
Robin ran his hands up and down her bare thighs, rubbing her gently until she looked up at him. He took her hand from his chest and brought it to hip lips, kissing the palm of her hand - the weapon that wounded him.
"You were frightened."
"And so were you."
He smiled up at her and reached up to bury his fingers in her mass of red-gold hair, pulling her back down to his lips. They hovered inches apart, their heat mingling until it became carnal and volatile. “But it brought us together… I think I can handle a few scars for that.”
Starfire’s lips split into a smile, brushing her mouth against his in a ghost of a kiss. “I promise, Richard… no more scars.”
Hey! If it's not too much trouble, I was wondering if you could write something up like.... Robin teaching Starfire something new. Those stories are always cute! Thanks!
"This is…?" Starfire looked from Robin’s hands to his face again, her eyes wide with confusion.
"A story book. Well, a book of fairy tales anyway. Raven recommended it." Robin shrugged and sat next to her on the sofa, handing her the hard-covered book with bright, intricate paintings on the cover. "I thought you might want to read some fairy tales and folk stories from earth."
Starfire blinked and paged through the book on her lap. Her eyebrows knitted together and she chewed on her lower lip, trying to decipher the meaning behind the book Robin offered her. On Tameran, there were only songs and ballads of brave soldiers and warriors sung in great halls, there were never tales of little creatures like fairies or princesses. Unless, of course, you counted Princess Ta’baran, who brought her enemies down in a single burst of power and forced her soldiers to martch on the capital, slaughtering all the enemies in sight until victory was hers.
She blinked again and met Robin’s curious stare. “And these stories tell the tales of brave warriors?”
He shrugged. “Sometimes. Other times they give warning to children about how to treat people, that they should listen to their elders, be respectful and kind to other people. Don’t do bad things…” Robin trailed off and blushed brightly, as if suddenly realizing that a fairy tale book was kind of a stupid gift. He rubbed the back of his head and looked away. “Sorry. I guess I don’t know what I was thinking…”
Starfire smiled, her expression softening, and moved over on the sofa, giving him room to sit down next to her. “I would be most happy if you chose to read me some of these fairy tales. I would like to see what stories humans tell their youth.”
Robin blushed and took the book from her hands, sitting close enough to her that their knees touched. They caught each other’s stares for a moment, both blushing as Robin placed the book between them, flicking the pages open to one of the stories in the middle.
"Once long ago…"
Yo since ur the coolest cat ever u think u could write some nightwing/starfire where they're chillin with Mari?
"Um… she can fly before she can crawl?"
Nightwing stared wide-eyed at his little, dark-haired daughter, now zooming around her nursery, giggling and cooing with excitement as the rush and joy of flight raced through her. Their baby was flying in her nursery. His life could not get any stranger. Starfire just laughed next to him, her eyes bright and wide.
"Yes! Is that not customary on earth?" Starfire rose up to the ceiling and picked her daughter out of the air, bringing her squirming form down into her arms. She rocked Mar’i gently, humming an unfamiliar tune to her as she gently settled down and closed her eyes. "On Tamaran, it is expected that a child will understand joy before many other emotions, this joy is what triggers the ability of flight."
Right. Unbridled joy, Starfire had mentioned that before. Robin raised an eyebrow and looked down into Mar’i’s face, a bubble of laughter rising up from his belly. He smoothed down some of her unruly, black hair and took her sleeping form from her mother. “Well, she certainly is going to be a handful if flight comes before crawling.”
"She will be difficult, yes." Starfire watched as he set her back down in her crib, wrapping her hands around his arm. They both stared into her sleeping face with that indescribable feeling of parental joy. In this tiny little crib held a being made solely of their love for each other, and that was something amazing.
"She will be difficult," Starfire repeated, "but it will be most fulfilling."
Nightwing stared at her with a smile, his arms wrapping around her waist as they turned the lights off and exited the nursery. He kissed down her neck slowly and smiled. “You know, I’ve been thinking Mar’i might need a sibling…”
