i can imagine trinity and greyson being pretty good friends and having the same sense of humour and the type of people who both get into all sorts of trouble. there's also that throwaway line when aurum notices willow's candles in the bar and seems like they could have like a not-siblings-but-totally-could-be friendship

Oh my gosh, the trouble these two could get into, with Trinity’s curiosity and Greyson’s ‘interest’ in treasures. (I can only imagine Clay’s headache as the security chief, and Redd often stumbles into their shenanigans. The only thing really able to stop them is if they’re making Redd upset.)

I loved Aurum’s little line! Maybe they have a weird-uncle-weird-niece-friendship (it’s hard to determine exact ages).

yEEHAWS  LOUDLY

he tries to be cool so hard I'm crying he's perfect. He's doing that tragic impersonating thing that takes over his personality (vaughn's comment that went something like "you know sometimes i forget you're impersonating the guy who would say something like that" still haunts me oh boy), he has NO FASHION SENSE. LITERALLY NONE AT ALL and has a robot arm and eye that glitch out and some sort of virus that's creeping the FUCK out of him. this character's a wild ride.

All the people I ship romantically with this character

agGRESSIVELY POINTS TO HIM AND VAUGHN. I was sure i was going to ship it before the game came out and am 1000000% sure...r that I ship them now. Whenever they share a silence it never feels uncomfortable so there's definitely some sort of deep understanding going on. I am really intrigued what their backstories are, hopefully leaving room for me to squeeze in my "probably made out in the janitor's closet at one point" headcanon. ;v;

My non-romantic OTP for this character

Rhys, Vaughn and Yvette! They seem so chill about each other and even when everything fails Yvette has the nerve to critize Rhys and Vaughn this is so great oh gosh.

My unpopular opinion about this character

He's gonna enjoy that Handsome Jack glitch. Not in a sexual way (wanting Jack to order him to do dirty stuff or whatever) but actually finding it incredibly great to have this virus help him become Handsome Jack. Does that make sense?? idk.,

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

Rhys/Vaughn, their backstory, Vaughn wanting to fix rhys' arm or rhys changing in a different outfit so we get to see his tattoos. literally happy with everything though (B

rhys and vaughn are super clingy to each other when it's just them. like constantly holding hands like a lifeline. sleepy snuggles. no sense of personal space with each other. but they're super conscious of PDAs when they go down to pandora cause man they have no idea how pandorans act about that stuff. then when they slip up or something and rush to explain everyone's like "nah we totally knew you guys were together. not subtle at all"

you had me at super clingy and i died right about at no sense of personal space yEAH YEAH

this somehow ties well with a small thought i had earlier that being together could get them into trouble at Hyperion?? you know coworkers dating and everything. So they are already p twitchy when they come to pandora and are just SO nervous when they are asked if there’s someone special in their lives. just. awkward glances to each other.

to be fair after this the book took a major turn and had ezio be like majorly in love w/ caterina like he was gonna tell her and she said it was too late and it was far too much hetero drama for me to handle

u r telling me ezio and leonardo are like the best bros ever. in the book he keeps calling him 'leo' too and they had wine and just hung out and it was rad (much better compared to the occasional bench meetings in game) what adorkable bffs
