Red Wing keeps surviving difficult battles. Starscream takes an interest in him, sensing that behind the persona Red Wing cultivates is someone with potential.

It’s not like you can deny your superior when they pull you into an unused room and begin kissing you senseless. Red Wing is more concerned that its Starscream doing this, of all mechs.

Being transported into an alternate universe where he and some random decepticon seeker are in a loving relationship and the war never happened wasn’t on Starscream’s list of things that might happen in his lifetime.
