Foresight, mon petit coeur

She’s trying to smile--she really is, because even now, she’s in a role. Even with the knife buried too deep, even with the bandits’ charred remains scattered across around her, even with the stench of burning flesh and spilling blood--her blood--she can’t bring herself to leave the role.

It’s what he wants, she thinks. And this--this bloody little kiss, pressed against his forehead, and the stroke of his hair, her fingers too weak to grip the dark locks--that’s what he wants, too.

“I’m going now, dear campfire,” she murmurs. Her breath is so quiet. So ragged. She’s not sure he can hear her over the sound of his own stifled crying.

And then she lives up to her word.

“Uh--uhm--uh,” manages the child, tugging his little hood down over his face so far you can nearly see the outline of his nose. “U-uhm...”

1) What drink did the mun have last?

“Root Beer. Not as good as real beer, but still pretty good. She doesn’t prefer it either but the restaurants in her immediate area don’t always have good stuff.”

16) What’s your mun’s favorite thread?

“She’s got several, I think. I know she loves the Zaun Trip thread with Currelis and I… hm.. she’s got one with her other muse… but as of right now; Zaun Trip and also any thread where I get to give Relius shit. Heh.”

19) What do you think about your mun’s sense of humor?

“When she isn’t trying; she’s damn hilarious. I can’t stand the puns though.”
