the end of the takeover
hi guys. so how would the takeover have continued & finished? there were 42 or so more posts lol. it would have been so cool okay guys look
sketch pulls sunny out of the blood void. there was meant to be a hidden message in the background of one panel that said IT'LL CATCH UP. sunny ends up in rhys's world and goes to the bathroom to wash off all of the. blood.
a little while later, tracker accidentally opens the door, sees sunny covered in blood, and shuts the door and calls for rhys. rhys is confused because they DID tell her about sunny -- and they realize sunny must have some sort of magic on them.
emrys finds a cloak in their room and a sending stone in that. they accidentally use the sending stone, and receive a message back from an unknown voice accusing them of stealing it or hurting rhys.
rhys receives a phone call from adaine checking if they're okay, because someone else has their sending stone. they realize what happened after a moment and text the group chat.
then they call emrys. look i was actually going to voice act this part & make it sound like a real phone call but. oh well
okay the sketch hangouts were the most vague notes but sketch hangs out with morgan for a bit.

bill cipher appeared in rhys's world - this actually was fully outlined
one of the walls in morgan and charlie's apartment started to glitch out weirdly. this video was going to be live action. i was going to use a clip of natasha lyonne in russian doll, with her line "the universe is trying to FUCK with me, and i REFUSE to engage!" and edit it so it sounded like it was charlie saying it in the background
cosmo & darkiplier conversation. this was also fully written so i'll post it here
a regular textpost from shiloh, which read: "who thefuck is calling me at 2 in themonring"
there was a whole comic with a confrontation between sketch & cosmo, and it WAS written out but i hated that draft. basically, cosmo accuses them of knowing about the multiverse unraveling, and they insist they had no idea about it or how to fix it. morgan, who was actually hiding & on call with shiloh, calls bullshit automatically, giving themselves away. cosmo gets irritated with sketch for lying, and sketch says, "i’m… knowing and having an idea are different things." sketch asks morgan to hand them a scrap piece of something unidentifiable on the floor, and then throws it directly into the camera, and the comic ends.
shows the dms between morgan & shiloh, where they discuss after the call what to do.
you know how the tides recede before a tsunami? everything that is in the wrong world suddenly returns to its place, minus sunny.
sketch sends a really frantic and almost manic text about hosting a party. everyone reluctantly agrees to come.
the-group-chat-without-sketch discusses what to do. they figure going to the party is the best course of action, so they can confront sketch directly. there's a brief concern about sketch seeing the screenshots if they post but cosmo mentions they're so . out of it they're not paying attention
everyone shows up at the 'party'. i didnt REALLY plan this out (i started to be really unsatisfied with the ending, so everything was kind of up in the air), but it did take place between worlds. there were a lot of 'cobwebs' that were actually just strands connecting worlds or whatever. wait i just found that i did outline some of this on discord
then they split into two groups. finding sketch (cosmo, emrys, shiloh, sunny) and finding starry (rhys & morgan). they figure by dragging starry into it they can at least fix. Something.
they find sketch through some convoluted puzzle shit i never figured out. cosmo using their knowledge of sketch, sunny using their memory of travelling between worlds when they were rescued, and shiloh figuring out the codes & puzzles whatever. when they arrive, sketch kind of, um. is losing it. they sort of summon half-formed versions of self inserts that weren't included in the takeover to fight them, which is where emrys comes in. okay fine i'll admit it i just wanted to reference the bigfrin fight in in stars and time.
meanwhile, rhys & morgan find starry. this was also meant to be a live action video. rhys because of the isekai & connection to starry's world, and morgan for emotional support bc they're also the closest as possible to a 'normal world'. they talk starry into checking their selfship account, which was previously crashing their app whenever they tried, but now they can see all of the posts.
finale comic. i was ... never really satisfied with the ending i wrote, tbh. but they all talk sketch down from it & starry rewinds it all and fixes the worlds falling apart, but leaving enough gaps that they can still communicate. whatever. sketch would have been able to move through the gaps bc of their fourth wall bullshit. idk. i never knew what to do with the ending, and idk if this is very good, but there it is.
