3. What ideas come from when you were little

DEFINITELY dragons. I really, really loved drawing dragons as a kid and they’ve stayed consistently in a lot of my original characters! I was also always very into ornithology paleontology and marine biology and I’ve incorporated those into a bunch of my ocs, some of which i’ve had since 2013 or so that have just been updated throughout the years :*)

14. Any favorite motifs

It’s personal & i don’t really enjoy looking at it unless it’s done well, but grief is maybe the most important and most consistent through-line in my stories & art. More-so in poetry and in the writing of the characters themselves + the reoccurring emotion in the art i make but its so essential to myself that i can’t imagine making anything without the consistency of it in all its many forms. I don’t know if its even a motif at this point its like my 3rd arm

HM.... i think my favorite to draw might be clouds/smoke. i loveeee going crazy with shapes

29. Media you love, but doesn't inspire you artistically

this is hard bc i always seek art inspiration everywhere i can.... tbh the closest id say would be ghibli movies? with the exception of princess mononoke and howls moving castle, they dont actually really do much for me in terms of inspiring me with art ideas

27 - Do you warm up before getting to the good stuff? If so, what is it you draw to warm up with

sometimes i do, other times i get carried away with a warm up ;_; i usually warm up by just drawing a bunch of eyes (most of the time i use this to test out what brush i feel like using that day) and other times i do flat colors as a warm up depending on the progress of an art piece!

ooough shows specifically would be hard cause i dont actually watch a lot of shows in general.... OH ACTUALLY? make! some! noise!

make some noise is generally a really fun show so far, and ive really been loving how everyone takes on the prompts given to them. my favorites the latest episode though, its so fucking funny

dropout survivor is my favorite episode of game changer, its just so fun and also really cool to see everyone be so competitive while also be friendly
