I have a lot of feelings about the Netflix adaptation of Archive 81 that I may spell out in a longer rant but it really boils down to this. 

Netflix 81 sanded down the edges and took out everything unique, interesting, and a little risky out of a 3 hour podcast season and in order to make it 8 hours of TV, filled it with every basic, played-out, and safe horror/thriller trope they could find until it was unrecognizable. 

But hey, at least they did right by Ratty.
