I have toyed with making a post along these lines for quite a while. I have debated making it 'spooky' and I have debated making it 'lovecraftian' to fit with the general theming of this blog.

However. No curlicued Gothic font is going to change the bottom line of this post.

Fuck Trump. Fuck all the MAGA ads which seem to be the only thing to load properly on Tumblr's mobile app, and fuck the culture of hatred, ignorance, and fear that has enshrined such an incompetent man in the highest office in America.

And fuck you if you have a problem with this post. I recently broke 7,000 followers, the Starry Wisdom Sect is going strong, and I will not miss you as the door hits you on your way out.

@gothiccharmschool I could be wrong, but this looks like digital 3D animation, and not stopmotion? I’m glad they based the character designs so closely on Charles Addams’s work, although I wish the humor was a bit… drier and more understated, like the source material.

Hmmm, you’re right, that does look like digital animation. Dunno why I thought it was stop motion.

Which is your favorite Granada Holmes episode?

Ah, I see you’re making the rounds with this question. ;)

If I had to choose just one. And that is always terribly difficult with such a brilliant show. I think my colleague and I would both agree that the Master Blackmailer probably takes the cake, and this is purely because I’ve always wanted to see Holmes in a romantic capacity, even if he is faking it for the case. What’s interesting is that he was acting as an infatuated man when he, as far as we know, had never been in a romantic relationship. This is punctuated by his admittance to not knowing how to kiss. 

It was likely Holmes’ hardest role, despite the seamless appearance. However, I like to think that this is just one of many instances that Holmes opened his metaphorical doors just a little bit to show that he isn’t a cold-hearted machine like media enjoys making him, but a very feeling and inexperienced man who is ignorantly misjudged.

Love your gifs, never noticed any weird aspect ratio or lack of quality. Cranky anon is complaining about nothing. I make relatively popular classic horror gifs for my blog occasionally that people seem to like, and your gifs seem to be even better quality than mine. It's tricky to do 100-ish frames at 540px wide and still have it under 3MB. Keep up the good work!

Your blog presents itself as a witchcraft blog and yet you're unfamiliar with Belial and Solomonic ceremonial magic, and when followers ask advice on how to charge crystals, you give them a snarky, unhelpful response to 'plug them in?' Your blog seems to have more to do with failed attempts at comedy than it does with witchcraft. Kinda disappointing.

One more Holmes question, hehe. Have you seen the four animated films with Peter O'Toole voicing Holmes? They're from the 80s, by Burbank Animation Studios. They're an awful lot of cheesy fun. (Also have you seen the 1950s black and white American television series starring Ronald Howard? I enjoy those a lot too, even if they're kinda silly.)

I saw one of the O’Toole ones, he did good voice work. Haven’t seen the 50s series but I’m not a completist! There are one or two “Holmes Meets Dinosaur” ones from Asylum films I haven’t been brave or masochistic enough to watch either!
