oh man you think so
Tell ten facts about yourself and then send this to ten of your favorite followers :)
You are absolutely the sweetest for tagging me! <3
I’m quite boring, so we’ll see how this goes!
1. I have a twin! She also has a tumblr. Check out starsaraligned! She’s pretty awesome :3
2. My boyfriend lives in Belgium, which makes me feel kinda sad a lot. Only because I miss him loads. He’s extremely amazing and supportive.
3. But that means I get to visit him in Belgium! I traveled to Europe last year for the first time in my life. It was also the first time I had ever flown on a plane by myself. My luggage got lost! But I ended up getting it back a few days into my trip. It was scary and overwhelming, but honestly, I’m really proud of myself that I managed to navigate the flights and everything by myself, because I would never have thought myself capable of it. When I was actually in Belgium, I had my extremely patient and loving boyfriend to help me out, and I can’t even begin to express how lucky I am to have him.
4. I am a huge fan of doom/stoner/psychedelic/drone music. You can check out my last.fm for examples of what that is. Right now I’m obsessed with SubRosa’s new album, More Constant Than The Gods.
5. I’ve never seen the ocean. I guess I always include this because people think it’s weird! I live in a land-locked state, though. It’s not surprising, I guess ;_;
6. My boyfriend and I have started a tradition of attending Roadburn (from the website: “Europe’s leading underground festival for psychedelic, avant-garde, doom or any other variation of leftfield sonic pleasures that push the boundaries of music.”) every year. This year we’ll be joined by a few others, which should make it even more awesome. I wear my Roadburn wristband every day (I can’t take it off, haha).
7. I am a feminist, and I will never be ashamed to admit that I am one. However, I can see how POC and others may feel reticent to adopt the label due to the movement’s troubled history with intersectionality.
8. My favourite movie is Labyrinth, though Blade Runner is a very close second. I’m a huge fan of Science Fiction and Fantasy in general. I am really tired, so I’m not going to list all of my favourites (I would be here for days), but I’m sure you can tell from scrolling through my blog!
9. My favourite book is Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. I also love Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. Most things by the Bronte sisters are awesome. Neuromancer by William Gibson is also way up there on the list. Much like movies, I love SciFi/Fantasy/Fiction… Just way too many to name. I enjoy reading.
10. I also enjoy video games. My favourite is Majora’s Mask. I love loads of stuff, though. If you’d like to add me on steam, just send a message! My PC is shitty so I don’t play much besides indie games or old things that will actually run on it, but I have a huge library. Humble Bundles and sales make it way too easy to load up for “some day” and end up with so many games you’d never actually play them all.
Anyways, I’m sleepy, so I hope that wasn’t too boring! I kind of did a cop-out for the last three, but so tired….

can clearly tell this must have been written by a Californian or something because turning the heat off
I'm not a Californian by any means, but I'll admit that our winters where I live aren't nearly as harsh as some parts of the country. Our summers, on the other hand...
