hey!! i LOVE your artwork and have a question about your process, if you don’t mind! i saw in an older ask you said that you do pencil sketch, then colored pencil line, then “flats,” and then rendering and stuff. do you do your flats in colored pencil, or do you use watercolor or some other paint to get an even layer first? also, how big is the paper you usually work on?

No, it’s all coloured pencils, and my “flats” are uuuuuuh usually very rough and bad ! If you go through my “art talk” tag you’ll see a process picset I’ve done not too long ago, and the first drawing with the very rough colours is what I call “flats”, just like, base colours so I know which zone is gonna be red or black or whatever ! And as you can see it’s not even AT ALL. I know watercolourable (?? it’s not a word but I hope you get me) pencils exist, and I’ve been told I should use them, but I’m lazy and scared so I’m not doing that ^^’ Though I think it could be fun to try them ! But yeah, I may have used the word flat wrongly, I apologise, I did not mean to give you the wrong idea. I should have used “base colour” instead ?

Also, I draw on regular A4 paper. I have very big paper sheets right here, but if I tried to draw on them, I wouldn’t be able to scan them, so I’m saving them for later ^^

How is there only two fuschias alive at one time? Are they extremely uncommon, or do they cull any fuschia grubs that are born while there's already two fuschias?

They’re just that uncommon. There are fewer and fewer trolls in a blood caste as it gets higher on the hemospectrum so it would make sense that there’s only one or two of the highest

Oh dunk was that a donation podcast or a free one? I never listened to it! So far we aren’t transcribing donation podcasts but if its a regular one and someone wants to take a stab at it, ill make a doc!
