After waves of illness and natural disasters destroyed the world and the vast majority of the human population, the SOCIETY was one of the first new governments to rise. The Cardinal Authority runs everything inside the walls of the Society, but REBELS threaten to expose the dangerous secrets being kept. Thank you!
Everybody wants to start anew. It’s genetically programmed in humanity. When tragedy strikes we search for what we could have done to prevent it. We adapt sure, but we’re never really the same.
We’ll always have one mentality though... Somehow we always find a way to cause more damage. We rise up and fall only to once more rise up. A never-ending cycle. Perhaps that’s why the rebels rose from the ground. Why to this day they fight against the cardinal authority. What if they know more though? When you’ve been conditioned to see the world in a certain way how can you truly understand it?
Do we understand anything at all anymore? After all, that’s happened, can we understand anything anymore? Like I said... Everybody wants to start anew.
