Doubtful || Ted&Andromeda
The assignment was coming to an end and Andromeda was extremely frustrated. Delwyn was perfect! Absolutely brilliant Hippogriff, she understood when people spoke, she reacted well to situations and she also knew how to feed herself, except there was one major downfall. She refused to fly. They had been trying to make her fly for what seemed like ages, Andromeda didn't know what to do. She was starting to feel discouraged. Maybe Della wasn't meant to fly. That wasn't it though. Andromeda knew that Delwyn could fly, she just didn't want to! That was really bringing Andromeda and Ted down. The two of them had no clue what to do anymore.
Andie walked through the forest to the meeting spot. It had been easier and harder for her to talk to Ted. They were at ease with each other, they were almost proper friends actually, but when James asked Andromeda to the dance, he started acting differently. Not completely differently, but different enough for Andromeda to start noticing. She tried to ignore it and shrug it off, but it kept bothering her. She got to their area in the woods to find Ted was already there. She got to the living area and put her bag down, then went over to Delwyn to say hello and pet her.
Della was starting to get really, really big. Her head was at the same height as Andromeda's, "Hi, Della," She said, grinning, "You're going to fly today aren't you?" She asked, well, sort of begged. When Della squawked in protest, all Andie said was, "I know you are, Della." And then, she headed towards Ted.
"Right," She started, "Do you think she's going to?" She could hear the doubt in her own voice. "I just think," Andie started, "That she hasn't really found her reason to fly. Obviously she doesn't want to fly for food." She shook her head, "What do you think?" She wasn't sure what to think anymore. She just hoped that Delwyn would start flying.
