Swim School(ed);

{ ; it was like any other hot day, jason found himself heading to the school’s pool to cool off before heading home, but this time he wasn’t alone } —  {; the boy was immediately drawn to the other person who passed, her feminine figure having caught his eye specifically } — { ; being the social being he was, he waited for the perfect moment to catch a glimpse of the girl’s features, mainly to satiate his own curiosity. did he know her? if not, was she cute? those were just a couple of the thoughts he had floating around in his mind } —  { ; deciding it was worth a shot to spark conversation, he called out after her }  Excuse me—!

While Jason was no stranger to starting up conversation with new people or making a friend from a stranger, this was the first time he ever had to approach a person with more intent than just that. He was to ask a girl on a date, specifically. His friends had left after pushing him toward her direction. He felt as his head began to spin for no real reason, feelings of nervousness filling his gut with each and every step towards her.  

What have I got myself into? He thought silently, She’s just a girl. Suck it up, Jason. It’s not any different than asking her to hang out, y’know? Maybe she’ll feel bad for you and your busted-up face? Hell, she’s alone... why is this so difficult in the first place?!

Before realizing it, he accidentally grazed her with his elbow while making his way to the railing beside her, causing a moment of internal panic as he raced to play it off as nothing.

“I–I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to bump you or anything, but... My name is Jason Sohn and I wanted to ask if maybe you’d like to join me? Y’know, since it’s the last day and I’d like to spend it... with someone.”

{ ; approaches the other boy’s suite with a mischievous grin, a small envelope was clutched tightly to his chest inone hand, while the other reached to knock rhythmically at the door to signal his presence, while the cruise hadn’t been going swimmingly on his end, he still made his best efforts to make the next few days some lasting memories… as well as a little more ruckus }—   { ; leans against the door as he begins to plead impatiently } Benji, my boy! Jason, aka your bestest pal ever awaits, and he’s even come bearing wonderful gifts! Now stop reading comics or whatever you’re doing and let him in!  There’s no time to spare, my friend!

Just Awkward;

Having sent the messages, Jason flopped backwards onto the bed, holding the phone above him as he waited not-so-patiently for the reply.  Luckily for him, the room was empty and his roommate was nowhere in sight, at least for now.  He whimpered and whined, staring longingly at the black display as if it would help speed the process. Still no reply.  The time he had spent frozen in his current position felt as if it had become an eternity, while only a few minutes or so have passed in actuality.  

While the boy had plenty of others he could’ve asked, his rationale behind picking Taesung went something along the lines of “He should be able to dissect all these thoughts right, he’s studying to be a therapist… or something like it!" 

Time continued to pass slowly in his mind, causing him to freak out even more, though he wasn’t exactly sure what prompted the sudden rush of feelings in the first place. The only thing for certain being sorting out his... confusion.

Swim Lesson;

{ ; excitedly enters the deck alongside the woman, making a bee-line towards the swimming pool } — { ; turns to face her after realizing that he's moved a bit too fast, now walking backwards in order to give proper eye contact } You can't tell me that you're not excited for this, Kat. Just try it and I'll make sure you don't like... drown! { ; smiles innocently as he turns back ahead, hopping into the pool in no time } — { ; swims to retrieve the nearest inflatable for her, bringing it over to where she was waiting } It's not even that deep, but I got this for you to hold onto! C'mon!

It's a Boy;

Balloons? Check. Script? Check. The courage to knock? Questionable, but heknew was getting somewhere by simply standing at the door. Talking to the man wasn't a concern as a background search via google only brought up great things, but the boy couldn’t help but still be nervous. In his usual fashion, he decided upon placing a comedic spin to alleviate some of the possible awkwardness, but he definitely wasn't prepared for any possible backfire. Taking one last deep breath, Jason gave a firm rap to the wood.  Not knowing what to expect, he put on his best smile for whenever the door would open – if it even would.

The Work Grind;

{ ; smiles to himself as he finishes the last of his cleaning and preparation duties for the night, meaning that he can finally go home to rest } – { ; lets out a tired yawn as he stretches his arms up, hissight travelling though the emptiness of the café, it had been long since closing time so there were only the two left, having been put in charge of closing up } – { ; looks to the girl, who just so happened to be his housemate Katheryn, as well as his co-worker and reason behind him landing a job so quickly at the cute Café Coco} – { ; slipping past the coffee bar, he waves both hands as he approaches her, wanting to ask if she had completed her tasks so that they may both leave } Aye, Kat... Are you done yet?

Having been let off of work early and not wanting togo home just yet, the boy decided to make the small stop at one of his favorite stops, The Hideout.  While the vast selection of coffee drew him in, the purpose he had dropped by was for something- or someone entirely different.  For once in the times he spent at the café, he had a person that he could look forward to seeing on-staff for the night.

“Kyliekyliekylie!”  

Jason called out to the girl, his arms shooting up to make cute gestures as means to get her attention. Not that it’d be hard, seeing that he was one of the few people remaining as closing time approached.  Luckily, the customers paid little mind to his displays, which continued on almost endlessly.
