I just want to say, I love Life in Reverse. All of your fics are great, but that one is easily my favorite. Just the way Loki's developing friendships with all the characters, and his interactions with Jane are fun to read. It's nice to see him interacting with everyone without the events of the Avengers being their first impression of him. Especially how that changes the way he and Clint interact.

Aaaah, thank you! Man, that fic is such...well, I’ve called it a baby monster before and that’s probably accurate. Sometimes more monster than baby and sometimes more the other way around, but in general - yep, monster baby. What am I gonna do when it’s all grown up?

The biggest and most rewarding thing about Life in Reverse has definitely been the relationship building - one of my favorite things about AUs is getting to play with how characters meeting in different ways/at different times could change the ways they relate to each other. And a Loki who’s gone through the events of Thor but hasn’t gone through the Void and everything there - is a Loki who’s damaged but in a very different way, and far more open to forming relationships with others, however awkwardly and tentatively.

And him and Clint in that changed setting is an utter delight, because I do feel like they could be Weird Friends without the baggage that the whole “took over your mind and made you my minion” thing adds. Loki genuinely likes Clint, in canon, I think - but in this canon Clint actually gets the chance to like him back.

You probably did not send this message expecting an essay, but hey! That’s just how things go around here.

I really like looking at him. Also I love his development as a person over the show so far, how he changes so much but is still recognisably the same person he was at the start just totally shaped by his experiences and honestly what a great character?? If Abby Griffin didn’t exist he’s be my fave, hands down.
