My first Saturday in an age where I am not swamped with obligations! I feel spoiled.

I am going to go to the library and write. It will be pleasant in its own right, but will also put me in the proper anticipatory headspace for Camp Cleanup, as @lurking-latinist suggested we call it (Camp Tolkien, second go around.)

Visitation days comin up and I uh.... A lots happened ya know? Are youse... All still able to make it? It- it seems like a lot o youse dont wanna talk to me no more or dat youses is all so busy. Worried dat youse gonna be all too busy ta make it. I aint had a lot o time to finish my gifts fer wll o youses...and.. I gots no idea how many I needs but... Er... Im hopin I gots enough done. Er Anywayses Uh Bambams here and recoverin and de HTP party is comin up, as well as Christmas and uh Well Youse might find me quiet fer a while. So d-dont worry bout me okays? Ifin youse lookin fer a sign here it is. Dont do it. Youse is loved. Youse is valids. Even if youses blood family dint see it, we do! ...I do. Youse all mean de woyurld to me. Dont go anywheres. I laid the baby mouse to rest this afternoon, on a bed of moss and in a moonflower-like flower, to take his last breaths out in the sun

I wanted to hold a funeral and bury him under my walnut tree and send him on his way, say goodbye - but my mother took that from me by just tossing him in the dirt and marking his grave with a brick. Reminds me how I never got to say goodbye to my dog and now I'm just crying all evening

With the long weekend starting today (it’s midnight rn and I’m embroiderying violets for Sappho’s sake lol), I realize that I have Monday off from art school which means I’ll probably do the natural dye blonde thing then.

I’ll tag the post as #kelsgoesnaturalblonde when I do it and post about how it goes bc I have never dyed my hair with natural products before (using lemon juice, cinnamon, honey, coconut oil and chamomile tea) and Ifdk how this will turn out. Hey but it’s one life anyways right?

Ps: For any of my followers that are great with math, how much would lemon juice, that would have enough juice from three lemons, be measured cup wise?
