Peccantum is an OC from The Dragon Prince, but I kind of wanted to try and turn him into a DnD character. Some things have changed (Mainly because DnD has specifics you need for character creation. but I had fun drawing this.

Name: Peccantum (Previously Conciliatus)

Class: Sorcerer

Race: Teifling

Backstory: Conciliatus was the bastard son of a noble woman. The lady cared very little for Conciliatus, but kept him out of obligation. As he grew, he demonstrated great skill at magic and apprenticed under a master wizard. His mother started taking more interest in him as his power and notoriety grew. For once in his life he was able to enjoy his noble status.  However, through a varying amount of stressers and complex situations, his ability to do magic broke and he hid himself away, hoping to fix it before he was found out. A friend of his, a fellow student, found out and was worried for him, so went to his mother and teacher. Conciliatus was expelled from home and school, and was dubbed Peccantum.  As he traveled, he learned more things about his past and how magic worked. He eventually found how to use magic through his demonic heritage and promised he would become everything he once was.

Yeah…More stuff on my OC. Shhh…I love him.

Magic had been his life blood. His basis for all his goals and ambitions. And now. And now…. It was all gone. His skin was dark, the stars he had admired on himself were black as night. It was gone forever and was never coming back. He couldn’t let anyone know about this. Ever. He had to hide this. There was so much more research he needed to do. If anyone else found out, the school would kick him out. After all, who would want to teach an elf who couldn’t do magic? Just a little thought I had about Peccantum and the reaction he would have to finding out his arcanum broke. He didn’t (and still doesn’t) know why it happened. He just woke up and found it was broken. It was a shock to say the least.
