I wouldn't ever use the phrase 'I WANT to like it!'--a mode of expression used chiefly by those lacking the inclination, and faculties, to Think Things Through clearly--but I will say, 'I want this GENERAL SORT OF APPROACH to work'. I mean, really: An animated, irreverent animated series about a bunch of well-meaning but D-List, Starfleet fuckups--with even a modicum of talent and Trek knowledge, HOW do you some-crazy-how make that NOT work? Supplemental Assessment, however? Still sucking. Still a blight on the Trekspace. Still not funny.
