When I was small my dad used to love gardens so he would buy loads of @houseandgardenuk magazines since I was in around 7 years old I used to go through them continuously, I thought I would one day be an Architect I was practicing my drawings really early. I never quite made it to being an Architect I chose a balance Economics and Construction so decided to do Bsc. Property Studies. . Through my university life I taught myself Graphic Design and I loved it. I fell in love with order, colour, layouts etc. . Most people ask if I studied Interior I guess I did but not in the typical classroom way. As I work on Cafe Kaya I realize that all those years of being a proper interiors nerd really have paid off, nothing makes me as satisfied as seeing great design be it Car design, Clothing, Interior, Graphic you name it, I was definately born to love design and the Economics side of my brain was put there to ensure that I could pair great design with Economically Sustainable ventures. . Most people think learning takes place in school, I believe the best learning takes place in life. Being able to dedicate a your mind to understanding something consistently is better than pile driving your head into books to pass a so called exam. Anyways here are some flamingos don't they look awesome paired with that light? 😍😍😍... #CafeKaya and @TheFoundryAfrica at Viking house we are just getting there!!!
