ARTHUR PENDRAGON; illegitimate heir of Uther Pendragon, he who ruled over Mother Brittania in the darkest of ages following its wean off Rome’s teat. It is a name that has been decorated in wizardry, falsity, reverence, and tragedy.
“It is a name with several denotations. All are special in their own way.” For twelve years, it took root ‘pon her head as a crown. It sung from mouths as a melody of hope as it did a cry of terror. From one, envy; the son of envy’s, hatred. …Should she ever regress to the naivete of her juvenile days, she would dare say its implications render more negative connotations than good. The source of her birth was shameful, and the entirety of her life around the persona scripted from beginning to end.
Yet, there is an immense pride that she now wields in both the names Arthur and Arturia. Though none else utter the secretive latter form, she is more than willing to coexist with its identity here, in this isle.
“If my name could be committed to the memories of those I find worthy, it would be more than sufficient. …Though you ask of mine own, what might yours be?” How could she deny this woman’s appearance?
