I’m obsessed es with the idea of Lyonel Baratheon in Star Wars

I’m writing a story about Star Wars (oc this time, not reader insert) and I needed a love interest for my female OC (the man plotline is about friendship)

Now I want him to be this rich Lord (chancellor or even king) she is a padawan that survived order 66 and takes refuge in his planet, thinks she fools him, but when the rebellion is hatched only then he reveals that he knew all along she was a Jedi, and tells her something like “give them hell, I loved you for this last ten years” and since he is a king he has a rebel fleet and they fight the empire together

Shiro doesn’t seem exceptionally powerful in the Force...at first. But the thing about the Force is it doesn’t matter so much how much raw power you have or whatever, but what you believe. And when it comes to enforcing your will on the universe and just making things happen, Shiro is in a league of his own—with or without the Force. If he needs to leap 40ft in the air, why shouldn’t he be able to that? Ship crashing and about to kill all the crew and occupants? Not now, it isn’t. This isn’t to say that it’s always easy for Shiro, but very few things, even the ever-mystical power of the Force, can stand in the face of Shiro’s sheer determination. 

Shiro’s also a bit of a natural empath, but he thought that was just normal Force sensitivity and he was just bad about it because no one else seems overwhelmed by the feelings swirling around the Force all the time. Guess he just needs to work harder :( 

That kind of attitude rather neatly describes Shiro’s relationship with the Force. He always had the sense that he was somehow weak or falling behind his peers and worked very hard to make up the difference, all the time convinced he wasn’t all that special. Barely passing for the Jedi, really. Meanwhile, everyone else is awed and a bit horrified by the sheer magnitude of what Shiro can do with the Force. And seemingly without thinking anything of it. Not that it’s wrong per se just... the Force isn’t supposed to work like that! What is he doing? What’s else can he do that he hasn’t told us?!!

Meanwhile, you have Keith, who IS insanely powerful in the Force even before any training. Something of a prodigy crossed with a powder keg. And, see, Keith was trained by, no, raised by Takashi “My will can change mathematical constants of the universe” Shirogane. Every Jedi Initiate learns that all things are possible with the Force, all things are One, the Force is merely an extension of your will, blah blah blah... But Keith, Keith actually believes it. After all, it’s pretty damn well clear that Shiro can do whatever the heck he wants with the Force just by willing it. And Keith hasn’t developed all the finesse and control of the Force that Shiro has, but he certainly believes anything is possible. He’s witnessed it. It’s not a question for him.

And the one thing Keith believes in more than anything else? Shiro. 

On the one hand, you’ve got a Jedi Knight who can will the Force to do whatever is needed and doesn’t think he’s anything special. And on the other, you’ve got a tremendously powerful padawan with complete at utter faith that anything is possible with the Force—or, at least, the Force and Shiro. He learns advanced techniques quickly, based solely on the belief that if Shiro says he can do it, he can do it. This is not, after all, a kid who looks before he jumps. 

And Keith’s blunt faith and power lead to another side effect. Because maybe Keith is still working on the subtler uses of the Force, but he is very good at just...smearing his belief into the Force. Not with any kind of intention, but just the kind of willful faith that the Force can’t help but respond to. Which, in this is, is that Shiro is the best and most powerful Jedi in existence who can do anything.

Maybe Shiro isn’t the strongest being in the Force by any means, but he has a immensely powerful padawan would BELIEVES he is...and that kind of ends up meaning the same thing.

The greatest irony of course being that neither one of them thinks they’re all that special.

and shes like 99.9% done just need to trim the excess of the visor and thats it add the straps to the vambrace as well as the greaves....  the greaves needed some padding around the base as they were a bit hard on my feet,  2 layers of thin craft foam colored with gold sharpy later and now their perfect,  made the new vest out of linen this time so its doesn’t stretch out of shape anymore... got the visor installed in the helmet, used hot glue, it didn't stick at first but after i scratched up the surface  with a file then gave it all a coat of contact adhesive and let it completely dry  the hot glue worked perfectly.  after i trim the visor i’ll post some test photos of every thing on.

sanded back  the talc and superglue filler, to the point where its smooth but still has a little texture....    making a template for the acrylic visor  tonight  to cut and form it tomorrow

ive been out all day but managed to get a first coat of paint on,   its just gotten to dark to do anything out side and the lights attract way to many bugs... and im not a fan of picking bugs out of my paint work
