Day Three: 30th March. Tidy mind, tidy stitches.
How do you keep your yarn wrangling organised? It seems like an easy to answer question at first, but in fact organisation exists on many levels. Maybe you are truly not organised at all, in which case I am personally daring you to try and photograph your stash in whatever locations you can find the individual skeins. However, if you are organised, blog about an aspect of that organisation process, whether that be a particularly neat and tidy knitting bag, a decorative display of your crochet hooks, your organised stash or your project and stash pages on Ravelry.
This is how I keep my yarn detangled. And this is My Boo, joined by Boo2 a few short weeks later. I have the 4-bin stash system to keep me from growing yarn out of my ears. I refuse to buy another box. I use the namaste urban holsters because they keep my notions and the yarn I need for any project I have to knit while I'm out all day. I've had them in rain or shine and they keep the yarn pretty safe. It has a belt buckle and a shoulder strap. So it can go wherever I go and I don't have to stop knitting. I have two, not because I knit multiple projects, it seems. In fact, at this time, I restrict myself from doing that. I got the second one mainly because I keep one stocked with supplies for smaller needle projects and the other stocked for larger needle projects. Plus, if namaste ever gets the idea in their heads to discontinue my favorite knitting bag EVER (-pause for emphasis-) I have an extra already, thank you very much.
