Visual Snow

I found out semi-recently that I have visual snow, which is basically where everything has an overlay of static. I’ve watched some videos about it and read some articles but most of the stuff I see has extreme cases of it where there is an obvious overlay and the screen is white staticy like this:

Mine doesn’t look like that. I can actually kind of tune it out most of the time. But I was looking up pictures of it online and found this one which is what mine looks like.

This is the most accurate picture I’ve found for my case. Scientists don’t know exactly what causes this and it comes with many other thing like migraines and a lot of afterimages. Some people can’t see at night (nyctophobia) I don’t have that symptom though. I thought I’d spread some awareness of this. I had something happen where the effect of the snow went way up and basically looked like when you sharpen an image too much and so I really wanted to post this.
