Thank you guys so much! You're all so sweet. I wish Kit had faced the camera, but she doesn't really like being held, so she was squirming. I also wish that my face matched my neck, which has somehow gotten paler over the summer. Not sure why I find myself so endlessly amused by what my hair does on days I don't wash it, though.

Themed ones are so much more personal too! They aren’t just some recipes from a book or the internet. Food is art, man!

And even if it doesn't perfectly capture someone's personality, they can't get too mad, because it's still a dessert that (hopefully) tastes good, as opposed to, say, drawing a portrait of someone and having it come out looking like the part with the baboon in The Fly.

You could send them the recipes! And photos! Whatever excuse you need to bake is a good one!

True! I could just practice baking on regular recipes, but doing themed ones is so much more fun, especially because I like to do a lot of mixing and matching of recipes.
