A couple of weeks back, in our 'Leadership, Engagement, and Motivation' module, we were asked to share a LOLLIPOP MOMENT we encountered. Now, before my like-minded friends who would lean heavily towards a double entendre assuming I am talking about the song 'Lollipop' by Lil Wayne, let me explain the term. The term 'Lollipop Moment' coined by Drew Dudley at TEDxToronto 2010 stands for: A moment where somebody said something or did something that you feel fundamentally made your life better. In simple words, it refers to Everyday Leadership. At the time this question was posed, I was not sure of one particular moment that I could pick to share but I was certain of the person with whom I have had several such profound moments of leadership. Those who know him and his value in my life, they would have already guessed, it is Ashwin AKA Achu I am talking about...❤️ Where do I begin? Achu, hands down was, is and always will be one of the most Humane and exceptional Leaders I have crossed paths with. He uses his innate Human riches such as compassion, integrity and (invisible) undying support to build every individual that is entrusted to him. I fail to pick a Lollipop Moment because with him, every moment was and still is inspirational. Every action, thoughtful and purposeful left us inspired to not only be a better team player but also engulfed us, warming our heart in to being a better Human and leaving behind a LEGACY. I am blessed to be born at the same time that he exists in this massive Universe and all the more privileged to have him as a friend for life. Thank You Achu for bringing me to the light from the dark dungeon I had sworn to lock myself in. When it comes to You, I will always have a basket filled with different flavoured lollipops (moments).
