welcome to the Archive of Station 10 project!

hi! i’m Alex. me and my friend, Sloane, run this blog. we work for AIRAP (abandoned innovations re-archival project), and we’re currently working on recovering and archiving Station 10!

Station 10 is a tv station that ran from 1986-1999, and played mostly kids show’s! we’re also working on recovering the shows played.

a quick Q-&-A:

Q. why are you guys working so hard to recover a tv station that aired years ago?

A. well, i suppose you’d have to ask AIRAP for that! but, i think it’s because it’s important, and also really interesting!

Q. why are you running this blog?

A. AIRAP asked us to! i believe it was to, “spread the cause”!

I’m watching Station 19 from the beginning because you know gay, and man I actually like this stupid show. Also Maya and Carina are adorable!

Lol, that’s good, then! I did like the first season, it was a fun mindless way to spend time and not get too invested, but then Jack/Maya annoyed me because, of course I just didn’t like Jack, but also the way it was this super obvious drama to mess up Maya and Andy’s friendship. 

But from s3 onward, of course I’m all for Maya/Carina, but also it’s more apparent just how...shallowly intentioned the drama is, I mean, of course it often covers very deep issues, but the way the show handles them, they’re just never gonna care as much about the issues or even characters or dynamics as the entertainment value of it all. Which, as long as we know up front and can decide if we want to watch or not, sure. People will make up, break up, get sick, die, cheat, it’s all just process and then onto the next. It makes it easier watching in some ways, for sure. I guess I’m just glad they got actresses with this chemistry so it kind of elevates it beyond that.

Breaking ground on new fire station

This morning, the City of Biloxi broke ground on their newest fire station on Highway 67 near Hudson-Krohn Road.

Station 10 will be a single engine outpost that will serve the northeastern portion of Biloxi. The new station will also call for the hiring of nine new firefighters by the Biloxi Fire Department.
