The Eduardo hate I think is just because Argyle ended up not as popular a character as Eddie. I remember hearing about Eduardo being treated rather badly at press events, being told to leave for pictures of the more popular cast. And after vol 2 dropped there's been some waves of people saying Argyle should have died instead of Eddie because "no one would care". It's even more stupid than the hate to Grace and Dacre.

Have you ever thought about what Tugger and Jemima's kittens would look like if they had any?

No, i have not. But now I am! They would have three!

The oldest looks like Tugger with a mane but is red where he is yellow. She is a girl and takes after her father.

The middle one looks like Jemima but is Tugger's yellow and has leopard spots.

The third one is the boy and i can't make up my mind what he looks like. XD either red and gold tortoiseshell or patches or mostly black with minimal color stripes on his 'wig'.

Unpopular opinion: the 2019 movie did a better job of portraying the "Jellicle cats meet once a year" concept than most of the stage shows.

While I do have my own opinions on the lack of breathing space we got to watch background interactions, and the consistent isolating of several songs that were group-based, I am not, in fact, against the generally more “separate” vibe the tribe has in the movie.

I’d believe most of these cats only meet up this night, family unit hcs aside, and that’s more than I can say with the stage version, where it feels like everyone is super close-knit  and have regular contact with each other.

I love both, don’t get me wrong, but if I were handed the stage Jellicles and the 2019 Jellicles, and asked who actually only saw each other 1/365 days I’d definitely say 2019 Jellicles (The benefit of casting. so many chorus cats and not giving them any focus laisudhlifudhf)

since i’m only talking about this particular canon of mine, since they’re both Attuned and carry Static (as named for how it feels when there’s another magic user/attuned around, and it feels a little different depending on the person and what their strain of magic is), i’m beginning to wonder how much of a likelihood there is that their statics are similar. 

perhaps Misto had been there at the tail end (ha) of Macavity’s time with the tribe and saw the flip out and subsequent exile. which means that he was also present for the Ball in which Macavity was supposed to go to the Heavyside and Munkustrap deliberately denied him.

it’s kind of timeline dependent in regards to when Misto arrived/what their interactions had been like/if they felt each other’s static/how he reacted to Macavity’s explosion.

but setting that aside for now, i’m leaning towards Misto being the most curious about Macavity. i think that there’s potential there for some definite awkwardness and invasions of privacy re: asking too many questions, trying to get to know him and forcibly be friends, trying to inject himself into conversations, etc. Misto’s younger than Macavity and probably too young to read a room, and also pick up on the fact that Macavity and Munkustrap Sure Are Close

yes: this is fucking up my main ship of Munkustrap/Macavity a bit do u fucking mind and i’m Offended by this

🎶 - Jemima- She was abandoned at birth by Grizabella in the junkyard, luckily Jellylorum had given birth a week before to Electra, Etecterea and was able to take her in and nurse her. She has no idea that Jellylorum and Peter aren’t her biological parents, also unknown to her is that Coricopat and Tantomile are her older half siblings, they sensed that they shared the same father a non Jellicle. She has empathic powers like her older half siblings and they are mentoring her. Because she inherited both Grizabella’s beautiful looks and voice, the older cats fear she may end up following in Grizabella’s paw prints.

😽 Plato- I have many different HC about him, but the mean one is he’s Jellylourm and Peter’s son , Electra, Etecterea, and Jemima are his younger sisters. He’s a protector in training, he look up to Munkustrap and Alonzo. Pouncival, Tumblebrutus, and George are his best friends. He idealizes Rum Tum Tugger and has a crush on him, Bombalurina, and Victoria.

🤸 - Tumblebrutus- He and Pouncival are brothers, strays taken in by the tribe to help bring in fresh blood to the tribe. Jennyanydots and Skimblesshanks are his foster parents. He loved the story of Growltiger so much, that he named himself after one of the characters. Like many young toms he idealizes the Rum Tum Tugger, but he’s not sure why. He’s human is gymnast.

Honestly? He has a very strong smell of Grass. I hc he p much grew up in the churchyard, and he just has a fondness for the feel of grass.

This cat man sleeps in his boxers. When he gets cold, it’s loose pajama bottoms and a shirt+Sweater.

Alonzoffelees. Misto’s humans noticed Alonzo hanging around their yard and started getting him treats, food, and water in an attempt to coax him in off the streets. Misto and Alonzo thinks it’s flattering and cute, but he’s not planning on moving house any time soon.

No.When I came back to the fandom I didn’t come hating any pairing, and that was the same back in 2016 too.

Unpopular opinion about the show?

London-based replicas are overdone and we should all re-embrace the other traditions. We would all do well to remember how varied this show was for decades.
