Hey, fun new spam bot trying to fool people into thinking it's Tumblr staff.
THIS IS NOT TUMBLR AND THAT LINK IS NOT SAFE.
I'd suggest blocking @announcement-center and @1278478412896 preemptively, since it takes Tumblr security quite a while to take down bot blogs.
Just as I re-blogged this they tried to scam me.

Danger Mouse (1981)
The superb lyrebird of Australia is one of nature’s best sound mimics. Its song can copy many other birds, and some lyrebirds can also copy human-made sounds like chainsaws, car engines, and camera-style clicks, especially when they hear those sounds around them.
OMG I’m the watching the Danger Mouse reboot and they just did a Jem shoutout!
Muppet Fact #1806
The Solenostomus snuffleupagus, a newly confirmed species of ghost pipefish was recently observed and collected from Queensland, Australia by Graham Short and David Harasti. Like the name suggests, the ghost pipefish was named after Mr. Snuffleupagus dude to it's shaggy appearance. Also, much like Snuffy, originally many people did not believe Solenostomus snuffleupagus was real because so few people have seen it and it remained outside of official scientific records.
Marine biologist Harasti first observed the fish in 2003 off Papua New Guinea. The earliest documentation of the species was in 1993 by the Australian Museum and Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory.
Ichthyologist and taxonomist Short said “It was so easy to say, ‘Yeah, this looks like Snuffleupagus.’ I mean, it’s almost identical. It’s scary,” in regards to the taxonomic name choice. Sesame Workshop was very supportive and pleased about the choice in name.

I love this Mistoffelees design! He looks so unworldly
reblog if you believe fanfics are as valid as books that were published and sold by authors who write as their main careers. I'm trying to prove a point
