"You've been workin nonstop on your final project... figured you could use a nice change of scenery," he muses, heavy frame tucked up into a craggy nook at the base of the mesa they'd chosen.

She had indeed. Less than a month left, and she was finished with her degree. The fuscia menace leaned onto her palms, feet dangling from her chosen ledge, the rock-face scaled so she could sit at near optic level with him while they spoke.

The red expanse of the plateaus stretched as far as the eye could see, dappled with bristling shrubs and towering saguaros.

"Beer me."

Reaching into his subspace, Bulkhead withdraws the cooler she'd packed. "Make sure you hydrate," he reminds, having insisted water be packed along with the Guinness.

Sticking her tongue out, she does as recommended. The arid desert air was particularly unforgiving today. A bead of sweat was currently running the length of her temple.

I’m gonna start this off by saying that my knowledge of Resident Evil is tied directly to the wiki- I have not ever played the games bc I am, as my friends say, a giant Wuss. That being said, I’m also secretly a huge lover of horror and sci fi, it absolutely fascinates me, so I really like exploring them all the same!

1. Celia is the first to come to mind because she actually has a Resident Evil verse! It’s absolutely self indulgent but I adore it all the same. There are a few ways I could see something potentially working here, but I’d love to discuss as well!  2. Selina - I’m still working out how to fit her into the universe, but her general premise is a double agent scientist who is morally good. She could fit in numerous places, really...  3. James Holden - I just remembered he’s on this blog and honestly? Resident Evil would work REALLY well with him. I’m gonna see what I can come up with, but generally, being one of the few survivors of a zombie-esque apocalyptic scenario is just on point for him. 

Ok I’m running out of juice now lol, if there;s anyone else you’re particularly interested in as well, I’d be happy to work something out!!

But for the sake of the meme, I will suggest: 1. Alia! My sweet baby vault dweller deserves all the love in the world.  2. Preston! Another sweetheart who deserves attention. His muse is fickle, but I’m more than happy to start something up with him and Ramona ! 3. Cisco! Another Capitol Wasteland vault dweller, though it’d be hard for anyone to tell, all things considered. He could’ve gotten out and been around when Ramona escaped her vault!  4. Bridget! I just think it’d be fun. Bridget is like Celia, but without emotional vulnerability. :)  5. Gaia! Outer Worlds? I can’t recall if you’ve made a verse or not but if you have, we should plot things in it!

I’m gonna go ahead and start with Jay (@cripplemagic) bc I’ve had my eye on them for a while tbqh

1. Laura. I’d be happy to throw Laura in Jay’s direction anytime, and really at any point. I could see multiple dynamics between them as possible! 2. Alia. I actually haven’t fleshed out Alia’s modern verse much, nor her urban fantasy, which is a genre I adore, but she’s a soft and sweet baby who deserves more attention imo. The main trigger warning for her is mentions of childhood trauma, and the results from her treatment and such.  3. Nyx. I would ADORE giving Nyx more attention- she is a urban fantasy muse, particularly an edlritch abomination meets witch, and I really want to give them some depth, plus the vibes would be v interesting between these two I think

and ofc this isn’t even getting into the verse possibilities; Star Wars and Grisha and Marvel, oh, my! Next up, I’m gonna say.... and these are all rapid fire bc I don’t wanna make this too long

1. Amelia & Selina - Sci Fi Gal Pals anyone? 2. Nadia & any of my Grisha muses 3. Jia & Wanda - my Wanda IS canon divergent tho, so maybe some plotting here :) 4. Nensi & Circ’e - this is my unadded homebrew character, but I’ve been contemplating bringing her onto the blog and I’d love to do some D&D stuff with you! 5. Titania & Laura or Shaun - Deserters unite!

Ok so I decided to do this for all of your muses - 

Life is Strange-Based: Chloe & Laura for sure! I could also easily adapt Bridget into the universe, as well as Alia! 

Mia  Celia has a RE verse!  Justain and Erec are getting some as well

Angela ok so we discussed Preston getting an Overwatch verse, and I am so down for that, I was also thinking Celia could work, as well as Bridget!

45. My muse mistook your muse for someone else and punched them.

It had been a long night, and Laura wasn’t exactly looking forward to returning home; relieving her mother of duty, only to be chastised for yet another night out... 

It would help if a certain young man hadn’t been harassing her for hours, offering drinks and simply refusing to take a fucking hint. Evidently ‘my husband is dead’ meant ‘I’m free game’ to the complete stranger.

When it finally seemed he’d taken his leave - following a rather loud description of just what Laura would do to him if he kept pushing his luck - there was a short tap on her shoulder... and for all her infinite patience, Laura was found wanting. 

So she turned, fist already raised, and let fly - only to realize, too late, that it was not the man but someone else entirely... 

“I’m so sorry!” hands cover her mouth, eyes wide, as Laura quickly stands. “I thought you were someone else- are you okay?!”
