In a field outside #Stawell is this mysterious ’historic marker’ surrounded by an explosion of trees. Drive-through of #Stawell - again everything was closed. The Main Street is delightfully windy and full of historic buildings, quite charming, but my very favourite is just up the hill: the lighthouse-like old fire station (George Inskip, 1880 tower & 1883) - sold by the CFA in 1991 and converted into a house in 2008, it was bought for $360,000 just pre-pandemic to become a wellness centre but, of course, seems to be vacant and unloved… (at Stawell, Victoria) https://www.instagram.com/p/CXrizjkhGXq/?utm_medium=tumblr
