Were you born/constructed/whatever you'd call it during the war or before?
Well, the answer is complicated.
I was sparked in a hot spot near Staxix, a small, weak city-state (I don't know if it was even worthy of being called that, actually). Staxix was so resource-poor that neither army was interested in it. It had no strategic value, no rich energon veins, no high-class art--well, you get the idea.
Anyway, the upshot of all this was that although I was sparked after the War had started, Staxis was isolated from it for a long time. Eventually we (the Staxisians) collectively and hesitantly decided to abolish the caste system and officially support the Decepticon cause.
Believe it or not, this STILL didn't attract attention from either army. However, eventually the frontlines spread planet-wide, and we were caught up in the War. I had just finished training as a psychologist when I enlisted.
