Hey AJ! How are you doing? You wanted randomness so here you go: What is the last Bollywood movie you have watched that you would recommend? Sincerely, I-have-the-long-weekend-off-and-need-something-to-watch
Hello Mutton!
I am doing well :) Haha thank you for responding to my most sincerest request:
The last film I saw was Halahal.
And I absolutely recommend everyone to watch it. From an objective point of view, it’s a great mix of grey characters, pitch perfect dark humor, epic dialogues and stellar performances.
Yes, it’s a serious film and the narrative can be a bit too deep or it might be easy to lose focus a slight bit - especially when we’re approaching the climax and there might be a sense of no closure, but this film is wonderful!
At 97 minutes it’s tight, realistic and great depiction of the darker issues that plague the Indian society barring any gruesome scenes. The best thing about this film, especially considering its genre, is the fact that neither the writers nor the director delve into displaying any sort of gore or excess of violence.
They rely heavily on allusion and subtlety to tell the tale so it’s actually a very easy watch. And that is fantastic!
Much love and I hope you’re doing well,
- AJ
When I was in therapy for the supposed SPD and OCPD I was diagnosed with, I was genuinely scared, even though I actively tried to "get better" and learn from my therapist. I was scared because she told me that as therapy continued I'd be more open to interacting with people and emotions, I'd want to be more social as time went on. I was scared, honestly, because I didn't and don't want any of that, I was scared of the idea, being drained, being dependent upon the socialisation of others. I was so scared that I wouldn't be able to recognise myself anymore after therapy was done; not that I voiced those fears to my therapist. When after a year she pointed out that therapy hadn't had any effect and she told me she suspected I was a misdiagnosed Autistic, I was almost relieved, because I'd never seen any problem with my lack of want to socialise with people and the way my mind worked. My problem had always been with how everyone around me had a problem with how it worked, how I worked, and that every time I tried to tell professionals that my problem was other people, they'd get mad and tell me that I was the problem, not other people.....

My X List of Category Y
A list of some of the things that have "stayed with me", according to the trend. I'm using bullets because I'm indecisive like that, it's hard to rank. Definitely, in no particular order.
I have to fill it in with more next time because undecided or unfinished.
