UPDATE: Pandemic Spike The Coronavirus Pandemic is rapidly growing in scope nationwide and here at home. Six more Counties are now in Level Three (RED) from the Ohio Public Health Alert System: Clermont, Fairfield, Pickaway, Wood, Lorain and Summit. They now join Cuyahoga, Trumbull, Franklin, Hamilton, Butler, and Montgomery. All RED Counties require face masks in public and limited activities outside the home--with Hamilton, Butler and Cuyahoga all dangerously close to Level Four (PURPLE). The novel Coronavirus is also going far younger as more Millennials and Generation Z falls ill. More businesses are requiring face masks and social distancing, including Starbucks Coffee starting July 15 in all company-owned stores. This is due to increasing infection rates and violence from irate customers. Meanwhile, Brooks Brothers is now in bankruptcy, joining a number of other companies globally in the poorhouse including J. Crew, Neiman Marcus, Lucky Brand and JCPenney. At the same time, numerous local and regional restaurants have had to close for deep cleaning/sanitation due to employees testing positive. Sports is not unscathed: the Ivy League has cancelled all fall sports for 2020, and Case Western Reserve University has followed suit and the Big Ten has dropped non-conference football games this year. Other cancellations announced this week include Chick Fil-A Cow Appreciation Day and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. Please remember to wear a face mask, and practice social distancing if your area requires/mandates it. Always wash your hands. #InThisTogetherOhio #StaySafeAmerica #StaySafeOhio #FlattenTheCurve #WashYourHands #WearYourDamnMask (at Cleveland, Ohio) https://www.instagram.com/p/CCeqQsQpzMMmAxnPB-xCABgLiqUPwLAdkRgBHw0/?igshid=1nlaspuefequg
