Pansy’s eyebrows rose so high they were almost lost in her fringe as she unrolled the parchment and read the letter from Astoria. It wasn’t that she didn’t like the other woman. It was just that, well, they had never been the closest of friends. Though Pansy admired Astoria’s way of presenting herself and her general prestige, she had never exactly feel like the two of them had what it took to become anything akin to close. There was a coldness about the other woman that put off Pansy, no matter how much she respected her, and so she had kept her distances. Still, she was pleasantly surprised to receive an invitation from Astoria, as it almost felt like a compliment, and Pansy didn’t take long to address her positive reply to the other woman. Being seen out with Astoria Greengrass certainly wouldn’t do anything bad to Pansy’s reputation.
