“It feels weird, you know,” Bucky said, not looking up at Steve. Instead, her eyes were fixed on her newly-fitted prosthetic as she flexed her fingers, open and closed, open and closed. “Not that I’m complaining, mind. This is loads better than the old one, and from everything the doctor said it’s also putting a helluva lot less stress on my bones. But still.” She clenched her hand into a fist and then let it relax, hearing only silence where the old mechanism would have made noise. “It feels weird.”
