Hey so, I’m not leaving but if I’m not around a lot, I’m sorry. The muse is still here and everything, but I’ve been off my medication for about a week now and I’ve been experiencing some wicked withdrawal symptoms from it. It’s making my head feel all weird and stuff so focusing on writing isn’t super easy.
So yeah. tldr: I’m here but i’m gonna be slow for the foreseeable future.

it’s a legitimate question. the only other person who has a car that pace knows of is ryker, and that’s not exactly just for riding around to go stargazing in. unless he wants to. in which case pace is tagging along. because… right. anyway.

That’s an...interesting question. If Clint isn’t the driver, who would be?

He could borrow a car from SHIELD, or even more likely, one of the vehicles left at the compound. The only car Clint has ever owned got totaled a while ago. Currently, he has a motorcycle (that can fly) but that won’t carry two people and two dogs.
“Yeah, some food and water should be fine. Should I bring a couple milk bones or somethin’? Lucky’s got a few extra he hasn’t started chewin’ yet. And it should be fine. Contrary to popular belief, I’m a good driver. I won’t do anythin’ to scare her -- purposely, anyway.”

overall, it’s a novel idea. drag clint out to the middle of nowhere outside of the city and just hope that maybe, hopefully, they’ll get far enough from light pollution to avoid murdering whatever view there might be. pace feels a little sorry for not giving clint the whole reason that he wants to get the stars described to him — every time i go to sleep i forget what the sky actually looks like a little bit more sounds a little weird, like some shitty sci-fi movie that has yet to be made — but clint doesn’t seem to be too torn up about it, which is enough for pace to not be too torn up about it either.

Clint loves New York. He’s been here a long time and he’s glad he has a place to call home, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t miss being able to see the stars sometimes. As much shit as he’s giving Pace about the whole thing, Clint has some fond memories of seeing stars as a kid. Well, fond might not be the right word, but he does like being able to see them every so often still.
“Is Tex gonna need anythin’? We could stop by the store or somethin’ for the dogs and pick up some other stuff too.”
“My point is if you ask the right person they’d probably tell you that I’ve always been rude.”
“I know we’ve had this conversation about a hundred times now, but you’re so much different than history tells us.”

I know I said I’d be here today but today has honestly just not been good so. Tomorrow for sure.
