Her heart was beating fast, not because she was excited or anything, but from the throbbing wound she had at right arm, the long gash that didn't look anything normal where the female only had her coat and scarf covering the injury. Breathing in pants, ragged and warm while her feet picked up the pace, wanting to get away from people, or to be precise, human's sight so she could get herself treated. Being found out that she was wounded and bleeding was the last thing she wanted. How would she explain it, after all? That the demon she was hunting down had turned back on her and left her with a wound like this? It was still tracking down her scent, probably, that was why she needed to get away. Trying too hard to run in the darkness of the night, she didn't see the figure when she turned the corner and crashed into the person, making her let out a yelp from the shooting pain.
"I-I'm sorry! I wasn't looking- Are you alright?" The phoenix stammered out her apology, giving the person a bow as best as she could, unconsciously wincing from the pain as the impact had put a strain on her already wounded arm. In her attempt in trying to not anger the stranger she ran into quite harshly, she had failed to notice that her coat was opened and her bleeding arm was visible despite how she had her hand pressing on them to stop or slow the bleeding. The light from the street lamp was dimmed, but provided enough to see the crimson liquid quite clearly.
